1st Round:  I played a kid (14 or so) and killed him both duels because he didn't have any of the staple Magic/Trap cards.  I really felt sorry for him because he did really well with the limited cards that he had.  I don't look forward to dueling him when he gets better cards.

2nd Round: Had to play Anthony and was really nervous because he and I have about equal skills when it comes to building decks and dueling.  I won the first one just barely and that duel took FOREVER!  We both thought it was pretty funny.  He won the next one pretty easily because he just got great hands and played them just right.  The 3rd duel was definitely in my Top 5 hardest duels ever.  We both played Ceasefire on each other and we both lost 2500LP!!!  Then at the very end of the duel I had 3500LP and he had 2500.  He flipped over his Cyber Jar and I only got 1 monster when he had 3.  Then he played Monster Reborn and P. Burial to get back 2 more monsters.  I only had 1 Trap down and I didn't have Kuriboh in my hand. (I already used it).  He then powered his Hayabusa Knight up to 6500+ATK!!!  He killed my facedown Exiled Force with his M. Captain.  Then he attacked with his H. Knight for the win, but I flipped over Magic Cylinder for the win!!!  It was so nerve racking because I just thought he'd attack with the smaller monsters for the win.  He deserved the win, but he was cool about it too.  I know he won't make that mistake again! LOL!  We can laugh about it now though.

3rd Round:  Even though he was my hardest opponent for the tournament, I had to play one of the hardest opponents at the tournament.  His name is James and he's the tournament director there.  (he just wasn't the director that day)  He plays "old school" style because he doesn't have much money to spend on cards.  He plays 3 Trap Holes and 3 Fissures and 2-3 Man Eater Bugs.  I know it doesn't sound strong, but it WRECKS most people's decks!  It kills when I use Marauding Caption and then try to Special Summon something else.  He Trap Holes M. Captain so I only get the S. Summoned card.  Anyways, I won both of them, but just barely because I kept using Exiled Force (I have 2 for now until they're limited) over and over.

4th Round:  This round was just as hard as the last 2 because this guy has won 1st place plenty of times and he's ranked #2 at this tournament.  (his name is Matt)  I've never had to play him, but I knew to not underestimate him.  And unfortunately he smelled so bad that I couldn't even enjoy the duels.  UGH!!!  LOL!!!!  Well, the first round made me really nervous because he Raigeki(ed) my monster and then gave me 2000LP loss.  Then I attacked for 2000 and he played M. Cylinder, so I was already down to 4000LP and it's only been 4 turns!!!  I knew that I lost.  Then he got me down to 1600LP.  Luckily I got Jinzo out next and he just got some Traps and crap monsters so I knocked him from 8000LP down to 0.  Then the next one I missed an opportunity with Change of Heart and Exiled Force combo and I lost.  It was okay though because I didn't expect to get that far.  Then the 3rd duel I won.  I don't remember all of the details, but I remember it was really close too.

5th Round:  (BYE) (I was the only left who hadn't had the BYE yet so I got it)  -   (Sky got beat by this little 8-year-old girl who has an awesome deck)

FINALS!!!  It was time to avenge my friend's loss.  However, I had never played her before and didn't know any of the cards she played or how she played.  In the first duel, I noticed that she played Yata, Gemini Elf, S. Dragons, Exiled Force, M. Captain, etc....  What's funny is that just before the tournament started I traded with her for her Inj. Fairy Lily and Exiled Force!! LOL!  I didn't know that they were only ones!  Anyways, I won both the duels but they weren't easy at all!  She is a great duelist and I hate to see what she would've done to me with that darn Lily and E. Force in that deck! DANG!!!

Props/Pros:

- for winning 1st place for the second week in a row when I never thought I would

- for the awesome Marauding Captain combos I pulled off

- to Anthony, James, Matt and the little girl for being great duelists and for giving me great competition

- to Anthony for telling me to take out my Axe and put in MST  (great idea)

Cons:

- deck being to big and not always getting exactly what I need when I need it

- getting lucky with some combos and I hate it when I have to rely on luck!

- almost getting beat in the 2nd Round
