Match 1: Semi-Semi-Semi-Semi-Semi-Finals

Binding Gravity vs. Defensive Exodia

I could tell this kid was somewhat new, soo I thought of going easy on him. That is very hard for me…

Duel1:

I think he went first, set, I summoned attacked it, it was a sangan, he got a piece. He set another monster. I summoned a dream clwon, hit it, but it was a 2000 def monster. So, he set another monster, and ended his turn. I summoned a Marauding, used effect to bring out lily, activated ceasefire, flippin his MEB, causing 2500 dmg to his life, I switched clown to kill GsoS, attacked MEB with a spell caster hunter, and attacked with marauding and lily. He wasn’t dead, but I won because he had nothing else.

1-0

Duel2:

About the same as my last duel.

2-0

Match 2: Semi-Semi-Semi-Semi-Finals

Binding Gravity vs. n00b deck.

I don’t want to go into detail, as there wasn’t any =/.

4-0

Match 3: Semi-Semi-Semi-Finals

Binding Gravity vs. something
I thought his deck was warrior as he was using warrior dai grepher, but I later found out he was just someone new who could figure out which monsters did better than others. (I.E. 1700 ATK vs. 1600 ATK :P)

Duel1:

I played a pot of greed, a graceful, summoned a witch, and ended my turn. Everyone around my opponent was like, “Woah, why ATK?”, and he attacked it. Took the LP damage, and, got a lily into my hand. He then asked me, why I put it in ATK. I simply said, “I fear crossout” This is a move most newbs don’t understand. Placing it in ATK mode looks extremely newbish to a newb, so I just made it look like I was bad. Long story short, I won.

5-0

Duel 2:

Similar to duel1, minus the witch in ATK.

At the end of the duel, he asked me how I knew he had a nobleman of crossout in his hand. I said, “Nah, I didn’t know. It is a reflex to summon a witch instead of setting it.”

6-0

Match 4: Semi-Semi-Finals

Binding Gravity vs. Relinq-down (JOEL? AGAIN? NO!)

Ugh, I had to vs. Joel, again. In the same day. Luckily, I think I perfected my deck so it can set-up against relinquished.

Duel 1:

I got a pot, 2 graceful charity, and a skull lair. It was complete 0wnage. He was eventually forced to set monsters in fear of them being laired. I took the win.

7-0

Duel 2:

M/t removal came from him, so I had to stick to my offensive tactics. Of course, my only high-power offense is lily, so I got the 0wning out to me.

7-1

Duel 3:

Very close game. I forgot how, but my life was set-up at exactly 1950. I CANT USE LILY‘S EFFECT! NO! But, my Gbind covering from Geminis and Skull Lair protecting from Relinquished, I managed to win.

8-1

Match 5: Semi-Finals (Finally, some actual bracket :P)

Binding Gravity vs. Fire Deck (Rosa)

Duel 1:

I knew she had prepared for this duel. She has put in a dust tornado and 2 skull lairs to set-up against me. She knew I had 2 yatas, so she was surprised to see me toss one for a charity. I ended up lairing and yata-locking for the win.

9-1

Duel 2:

I got the yata-lock set-up, but I had lost all of my reborning cards, so I couldn’t speed the process up. I ended up having at one point to summon a marauder to bring out lily, when I just remembered. I only have 900 LP! So I hit for 1600, she summoned, and from all of my discards, I skull laired for the game.

10-1

I watch my brother’s match. He is playing Tolby, the person I lost to in the finals of the state-wide tournament I had just gone to. And, surprisingly, I would face the winner of this in the finals.

Match 6: Finals

Binding Gravity vs. Beatdoon! (Tolby)

ACK! I had to duel Tolby, again! In the finals again! I didn’t even get a win against him the state-wide, so hopes were looking down for me.

Duel 1:

We traded blow for blow, until he got the upper hand. I decided the only way I could win is by 0wning all out. So I took to a all-out offensive, which, on my next turn, paid off. My deck has the unique ability to make up for all of the cards its played in one turn by using robbin’ goblin. Yata-locked the game.

11-1

Duel 2:

m/t removal, and me without my hunter/lily. I lost pretty fast.

11-2

Duel 3:

Read duel 1. About the same.

12-1

Yay me again! I end up scoring a rank win, instead of a box of TP3. I found out that it paid off, seeing as how Tolby didn’t pull a needle worm. CHRIS, IF YOU ARE READING THIS. DUSTIN STILL THINKS YOU CHEATED. HE WANTS A REMATCH.
