That's right, I'm posting a tourney report. Keep in mind that my deck did
not look like this before the tourney.

Pre-tourney
We arrived a little after 9:30, paid our entry fees, and I walked into the
movie theater where the tourney is held while my friend Robbie bought a Kycoo. I
did a free match against a kid I know named Jonathan.
TheProphet vs. Jonathan
Duel 1
He hit me with Opticlops once and I beat him without a scratch after
that.

Duel 2
This time, all I could do was hit him for 1800. I don't really remember
this, but he won.

After that, some kid named Mike challenged me to a duel. He beat me while
the pairings were being announced. I don't remember what happened and he did the
life, sooo... On to the actual tourney!
Round 1
TheProphet vs. Sal
Duel 1
I don't remember much except that I kept killing his monsters and I won by
Yata-lock. He did the LP for the whole match.
Duel 2
No sweat. I actually lost some life this time, but I eventually won. Sorry,
but I don't really remember details all that well.
Updates
Nick (#2 in the store) had to play James in the first round and Nick won.
Robbie won easily against some kid named Russell. I don't know who
faced Garrett and Cody, who are ranked 3 and 4 in the store respectively.
But I do know that they won.
Round 2
TheProphet vs. Richard
Duel 1
This guy traded a Yata for 5 packs last week. What a moron! Anyway, I
remember that he summoned a Baby Dragon early on. (He uses Thousand Dragon and
Black Skull Dragon.) I also remember that he brought out his Dark Ruler Ha Des
and I killed it somehow. The next turn I Reborned my Goblins and won.

I got Yata out early but he Kuriboh'd it. (Darn you Kuriboh!) However, that
didn't stop me from winning by Yata-lock.

Robbie got eliminated by some cocky guy in his 30's. Garrett, Cody, and
Nick all moved on.
Round 3
TheProphet vs. Nick
Duel 1
Oh great. Me against #2 in the store. I don't remember much about this
duel, only that his Mysterious Guard messed me up. He uses a Warrior/Spellcaster
beatdown with 48 cards. By the way, the LPs were done on calculators so I don't
remember what they were.
Duel 2
He played Skull Lair and even though I have 3 Kycoos, I couldn't draw any
and I went down, but I hung around for a while thanks to Sinister Serpent.

Updates
I don't remember what happened to the other people after the third
round.
Aftermath
James helped me with my deck. I modified it a little more when I got home.
I played a match against James before he helped me. First duel, he Yata-locked
me. Second duel, he used a bunch of recursion on the same turn and did overkill
damage. I also got a few LoD packs and pulled a Spear Dragon. I traded an
Opticlops to Robbie for Thunder Nyan Nyan and gave another Opticlops away to
some little kid. I also traded Tribute to the Doomed for Goblin Attack Force,
giving me a total of 3. Robbie and I left around 12:30 and we hope to kick some
arse next week.
