Kyle Bauer Store:Medieval Starship Entry Fee:5 dollars Date:January 19th 03 Deck Name:Red Moon Baby Takeover madness City:Ofallon State:IL I came in with 3 friends.2 didnt make it past the first round. 1st Round ---------- First it was my friend Cody versus some little kid,Cody was cornered down to 200 lp and then the kid used Lord of D and Flute of Summoning dragon on him,he attacked and cody activated mirror wall,and then solomans lawbook,saving him for one turn,untill he sacs the trap and then change of hearts the tri horned dragon and Kills the Lord of D with a Harpies Brother,then attacks directly for big damage with Tri Horned Dragon...Round 2 went:The little kid drew no cards and Cody kept using his Hintomas and Ookazi's and using Harpies Brothers and Overdrives to attack directly,and it came quickly. Carles vs Chris (exodia) ------------------- This went fast,for Chris,he just kept using Sangans and then sacing them to get exodia peices while depleting carles life points,he won the first time by summoning exodia and the second time by depleting carles's lp. Logan vs Another Little kid ------------------------ Logan went out quick,he summoned his black skull dragon only for it to be fisured and monster reborned,and the second time he just didnt draw any level 4 creatures at all. Me (Kyle) vs Andrew ------------------- This guy was a challenge,he used defense but My stop Defense cards and his Mystical Elfs (Should replace for Aqua Madoors btw) kept hurting him big time,beacause I'd summon A Harpies Brother or Neo and he'd counter with big defense,but stop defense hurt him more and more each time,then I finished him by bringing out the red moon babies and killing his Defense creatures with Horn of The Unicorns and Swords of Deep Seated,this went pretty quickly after I cyberjared him and he got no monsters while I got 2 Harpies Brother,a Neo,Takriminos,and Lord Of D. Round 2 (Cody gets bi) Me (Kyle) vs Exodia Kid ---------------------- This guy sucked,he used mystic tomato to get a sangan which I quickly horn of heavened,and then I destroyed his exodia peices which he kept using to defend himself with red moon babies,filling up my feild with all 5 peices of exodia...only if I would've found some way to get them in my hand and call exodia on him,that would've been funny...this happened each and every time. Round 3 (No bi for Cody!) Me(Kyle) vs Chris (non exodia) ------------------------ My trip almost ended here,Chris has the most unique strategy I've ever seen,first round he plays a ground collapse and sets a creature and a m/t and I attack it,princess of tsugari,oh well but then he activates his trap card sollem wishes,and I couldnt do anything,and then he plays another ground collapse limiting me to 1 spot to play a creature,which I usually kept summoned.This costed me,with only one attack per turn I couldnt do anything but sit and watch,as he kept directly attacking me with a damn summoned skull after change of hearting my creatures,then he finishes me with block attack and fairy meteor crush. 2nd round was different,he had 0 monsters and the same for the 3rd...I laughed at this Cody vs Predo (Winner) ------------------ I didnt watch this,I knew it would end and I was in my duel before it ended,predo won big though. Round 4 (Semi Finals Baby!) Kyle vs Tom (2nd place) ------------ The first duel I managed to get an exodia peice in the graveyard which he backup soldiered and it was over. The 2nd was different and it was almost over,before I destroyed the exodia peice I used a red moon baby to take it,then I summoned Harpies bro,change of hearted his sangan,tributed the exodia peice and sangan for blue eyes,equiped it with megamorph (i played confinscation first turn)and then equiped Harpies bro with a sword of deep seated and that was game 3rd duel went just the same as the first... Props ------- Predo for winning Cody for getting 7th Tom for finishing 2nd Me for getting 4th in my first tournement Cody for trading away all of his exodia peices (he had the arms and the head) Slops ------- Tom for beating me Carles and Logan for getting eliminated first round Carles for getting a rageki Logan for getting a Gaia the Dragon Champion Me for only getting 4th when I could've beaten tom. Carles and Logan for tieing for last when they're probably better than me...Well their decks are.
