He wanted to get revenge for me taking away his first chance to win a tournament. The first match was: Batman vs Sockman (sorry i forgot your name) -Round 1 The dude had his lucky socks stuffed in his gigantic pencil box which he used to store his cards, so I'll call him Sockman. Anyway, when I drew the first 5 cards, I realized the duel has already gone wrong for me because I forgot to take out the sidedeck cards that I put in while I was dueling Jackie's annoying clown deck. But I had Raigeki, so I was not in bad shape. I pretty much dominated that match and got kind of cocky. I thought this was going to be an easy win because I beat him, even tho I forgot to take out anti-clown stuff. Batman vs Sockman -Round 2 He sidedecked some stuff and it reminded me to take out the anti-clown stuff and put back my trap holes and fissures. I drew Raigeki early again. I was half asleep while dueling, so he somehow he pulled off the victory and won the match. My cockiness had backfired and I snapped back into reality Batman vs Sockman -Round 3 He cut my deck and then I drew cards. He then forgot that he had cut my deck and said "Wait I haven't cut your deck yet." I told him that he did, and he didn't really believe me, but ok whatever. I draw RAIGEKI in my first hand for the 3rd time. I guess he musta thought I cheated by not letting him cut my deck and shuffling the cards to draw Raigeki always. Citizens, please be assured that Batman duels honestly. Anyway, I dominated the match, because I had a good first hand. One monster removal after another. During the final assault, I predicted that he had a Mirror Force (I always seem to know when a Mirror Force is coming) I was shaking, fearing of him making a comeback and switched my Harpie's Brotha in defense while I attacked with a Man Eater Bug. I guessed correct, and he had to waste his Mirror Force on my Man Eater Bug or be killed by it. He was able to stall another turn, but defeat was inevitable for him. I win with 6200 LP. -SEMI FINALS- Batman vs Ryan Young "the Youngster" -Round 1 Ryan calls himself the "Youngster" even tho he is a 32 year old man. (J/K Ryan) He is one of the top duelist in my school, and it was sad that an Oakland Higher had to take out another Oakland Higher, but I had to avenge Jackie, who had been taken out by Ryan and shattered out dreams of dueling in the finals again. I hit him bigtime early change of hearting his fish and attacking him with his fish along with my own fish. A couple of turns later, he managed to get in an 1800 assault on my lifepoints. I manage to get control of the board and attack him somemore. My fingers messed up and pushed the wrong thing on the calculator I use to calculate LP and some negative number showed up. THe LPs were lost. I think Ryan had 3200 and I had 5600, I was trying to remember, but Ryan said lets just start at 4000 each. Being the cocky person that I am, I agreed since I was winning. THings just got bad from there and he made a comeback and beat me. Batman vs Ryan Young "the Youngster" -Round 2 I draw 6 Magics first turn! I had no monsters, and Ryan had a free hit in. But I had plenty good magics like Change of Heart, and Raigeki. I draw, and another magic comes up. I Raigeki and he gets another free hit. Next I get out cyber jar, get out some monsters, do some serious magic casting, and dominated the rest of the game. Batman vs Ryan Young "the Youngster" -Round 3 I did some advanced shuffling to shuffle away my bad luck. (Jonathan, I know you're jealous of my advanced shuffling.) It was an even match, and we were both brought down to 2600 fast. He had out a Jinzo while I had only a facedown Magician of Faith. He TTTD it and takes me down to 200. Next turn I set down Man Eater Bug, and it eats Jinzo up when it gets attacked. He uses premature burial taking his LP down to 1800 and brings Jinzo back in Main Phase 2 and also removed my MEB with a magic. I draw fissure and take his Jinzo out again. Then the game goes into the "Dry Period", where no one has a monster, and the field is wide open and each player has like 2 cards in their hands, each player keeps on drawing magics for a few turns. Then I happen to draw a Harpie Brother, taking him down to exactly 0! -FINALS- Batman vs Norman the 3rd Grader -Round 1 Norman is damn good for a 3rd grader. Last week, he beat him twice in a row and then I beat him 4 times in a row during non-tournament duels. If history repeated, I would be taken out. First match, he got out his good monsters first and whooped me. Now I was really scared that history would repeat. Batman vs Norman the 3rd Grader -Round 2 Batman somehow wins this match. I have no memory of this because the spirit inside my millenium digital watch took over and won the match somehow. Batman vs Norman the 3rd Grader -Round 3 Solemn Judegent cost him the match. He had 6200 and solemn judged my raigeki. I smile and flip over my magician of faith. Raigeki! I had a big advantage in lp and monsters, so, naturally, I win. I pick 5 PSV boosters and only 1 crappy holo: Fairy Meteor Crush along with crappy rares Mad Sword Beast, Magic Drain Appropriate and Michizure Props to: Norman, you are damn damn damn good for a 3rd grader Yu Gi Oh Virtual Desktop Ladder, where I trained and improved my deck and dueling skills Tobie, the only person in my school i never beat All my cheerleaders: Jackie, Michael, Kevin. The Pokemon theme song, for making me "wanna be, the very best, like no one ever was" Sockman's socks for getting me high Slops to: Whoever stole that kids deck today. All card theives burn in h...toon world. Michael for quitting Yugioh Tobie, for not letting me win just ONCE! Ryan, for taking out Jackie and ruining our dream of facing each other in the finals.
