Hey all! I did great this
week and I had fun. It was my best week yet! My decks gonna be at the end if you
feel the strange power to look at it before the report. I was here with my
friend Dana who's running a Beatdown / Monster removal. I , sadly, didn't
get to trade at all today cause people were offering 1st edition
Inexperienced Spies for Polymerizations, don't ask
me.
So on with the
tourney!
First Game! Sean vs
Robby
This is one of the good
people in the store. Dang! When I heard his name I thought I was gone right then
and there. But it was exactly the opposite. Before the duel he said anyone with
ultra-rares could beat him so I had a little confidence. He went first and
started with a goblin attack force, bad move. I fissure it and set my dust
tornado. I then summoned a Dark elf
and attacked directly! It went down hill for him from there with my constant
attacks. My Dark Elf ( 3rd) finished him! It went pretty much the
same next duel. Afterwards he was real quiet and started playing magic with a
kid from a grade over me from my school. I regrettably began bragging and got
cocky. After a few more practice duels I was ready for my next
match!
Second Game! Sean vs
Rich
Man I wish I had lost…
When he got his tourney pack he had received a Giant Red Seasnake! Darn it!
Instead of using paper he had die that counted. That made it much easier. He is
also one of the good people in the store. In this duel my Wabokus saved my
“questa†( quote Joey Wheeler ) SO many times. As I dueled I became tense at
times. My Dark Elves however were the Seeming as if they were better than 3
Gemini Elves. They ripped at his life points mercilessly. Second duel was
EXACTLY the same almost.
Third Game! Sean vs ( dun
dun dun!) NICK
Oh no! The infamous Nick!
The favorite to win! I smell trouble…
My hands shaking I began to
duel, he got a Jinzo out second turn! I had a lone 7 colored fish and then I
drew…. Malevolent Nuzzler! I killed the Jinzo. He then used Monster Reborn on
it. Once again I attack it. Making a long story short I won. Next duel he just
Killed me. Last duel. We both were tense and a couple people were watching me
including Robby who was rooting for me because he doesn't like Nick. I made
one mistake that cost me the game. When he had a facedown card ( unknown to me
to be mof) I did not attack with my cyber jar, I attacked with my 2500 La
Jinn…. It could have led me to my win. I was about to win in another
situation. He drew and he eyes bugged out. He began kissing the card he picked
up. Raigeki! He stated. I hung my head in disbelief. Later that game he had a
BIG upper hand, he had 5 monsters, one of which was mine, Hayabusa Knight, and
no monsters on my side. Only a lone m/t. I began to act like I had lost, He said
for them all to attack and I smirked, Mirror Force. God Dang it! ( censored) I
drew and no monster, he drew, goblins…. guess my life? 2300. Lets just say
bye.
