This was the second tournament at the hobby shop and
my second tournament as well. Japenese prohibited.

I was running my now pumped up beatdown/control deck.

NE Way

There were only 16 people but my friend Sarmed showed up again. The
way the tourny was set up i wouldn't have to face him till the
semis. I was hoping for revenge for my loss in the finals last
week against ilone, but he didnt show.

My first Match started around 1230 or so, and i was pretty confident
that i could beat my first opoonent.

Match 1: Chip vs. Mike (Beatdown)
Duel 1: If he had just a little less tribute monsters in his deck, i
think that he might have beat me this duel. He jumped to the early
lead with some staple cards and some lucky draws, but after i cleared
the field with mirror force he couldnt get a monster and i was able
to come back for the win.

Duel 2: I had a better hand this game (SORL,2 TTtD, Man Eater Bug,
Barrel Dragon and Premature buriel). He went first and set a monser.
I TTtD discarding Barrel Dragon and then Premature Burieled it and
won easily.

Mike could have got to the quarter finals at least if he hadnt faced
me. He needed a few more 1800s.

I was the first one done with my match so i thought i would have
to wait a while, but my opponent was only 5 minutes behind me in
victory. I had played him, (Rob) last week and won in the first
and third duels. He was the hardest duelist i faced all day.

Match 2: Chip vs Rob(A deck a lot like mine)
Duel 1: I made some brilliant moves(if i must say so myself) and
with help of my hayabusa knight and his best friend Axe of Despair
i won the first duel in a matter on minutes.

Duel 2: He used exchange to take my SORL, them used it again to take
Barrel Draggon, and then again to take an Axe. Simply not cool.

Duel 3: Could history repeat itself? Yep. I easily beat him in the
third duel with my Noblemen of crossout killing off his Cyber Jar
and winning me the game.

I had to wait about an hour for my next opponent, Sarmed, could catch
up to me. I know his deck as well as if not better then he does and
almost always beat him when we play in school. He's no pushover though..
Could he get lucky?

Semis: Chip vs. Sarmed(DNA Surgery/Insect Barrier Decking deck)
Duel 1: Oh no the DNA Surgery/Insect Barrier Decking deck of doom!!!
I won this one easy with help of all my staples. Not much to report
here.

Duel 2: This was pretty funny. He flips Morphing jar #2 while i have 4
monsters on the field... and i draw 4 completly different monsters in
a row without losing a single card... execpt summoned skull whick i call
of the haunted and attack him for the win with. He did get some damage in
though.

I waited forever for the other Semi final match to finish and it turned
out that i had to face Josh, the same person who i had beat in the second
round last week,

FINAL ROUND: Chip vs Josh (Dragon Deck)
Duel 1: He didnt get a Lord of D. Flute combo out so i easily beat him
down with a summoned skull.

Duel 2: This was sorta boring. He couldnt get a monster the entire duel
except for mysterious pupeteer. Easy win.

Yay i won.

I still have to face ilone though. Back in two weeks.
