This deck keeps getting modified and adjusted, but I always try
to have one combo I really want to pull off. Last week it was
Griggle with Creature Swap, this week it is Ameba with Creature
Swap. That said, on with the tournament!

First duel:
Me vs. Mike (Magical Scientist Deck)

Match 1:
Mike had a Magical Scientist deck with some offensive
attack stuff thrown in. It was pretty good for awhile, with
Old Man Poison being thrown around. Eventually I got him in a
Yata/Jinzo lock though.

Me: 8000 - 6600 - 6100 - 4600 - 5800
Him: 8000 - 7800 - 9000 - 7800 - ... - 0

Match 2:
Again, while I pretty much had the upper hand, I was
worried about that little geek with the test tubes, but in the
end a Kycoo/Yata lock prevailed.

Me: 8000 - 7500 - 8700 - 7700
Him: 8000 - 6200 - 5800 - 5600 - 5400 - ... - 0

Second Duel:
Me vs. Daniel (Dragon Deck)

Match 1:
Dan is a great guy and his Dragon deck was a force to
be reckoned with. However, some Poison for me in the beginning
helped and I brought out some heavy hitters early on with some
changing of heart and sacking... Giant Orc also lent me a hand.
Also, when he Fluted a blue eyes at one point, I waboku'd, saving
my Newdoria, which I promptly suicided into his Lord and took out
BEWD next turn all in one shot :)

Me: 8000 - 9200 - 6800
Him: 8000 - 6600 - 4000 - 0

Match 2:
Luckily I had some Poisons for me early in the match,
to bring me up to 10400 (courtesy of magician I reused one),
because, woah, I needed it later when he got his lord and fluted
and brought out a Luster and Spear and stole my Giant Orc
(while in ATK mode) and had another Spear... There might
have been another monster too... it was horrible... luckily
I Kuribohed the largest ATK (the LOD Luster) and survived.
A Dark Hole later I was back on top and pulled it off...

Me: 8000 - 9200 - 10400 - 3700 - 1300
Him: 8000 - 7200 - 4600 - 2600 - 0

This is when I had a 4 player duel (me and Adam vs. Daniel and someone)
Just like in the show! It was awesome, and very fun, and Adam and I
came out ahead (barely) when Adam's Magic Cylinder turned around what
would have been a fatal blow to us and hit them instead. By the way,
this was all inbetween duels... someone was taking awhile :)

Third Duel:
Me vs. A (Sweet Machine Deck)

Match 1:
This guy's use of Limiter Removal had me scared the
whole duel. We had some crazy back and forths. And at one point
he made the critical mistake of playing Limiter facedown on his
turn and then not being able to activate it when he needed to
to finish the duel (because once it's down, it's treated as a
trap). Whew! I pulled off a win:

Me: 8000 - 6500 - 7700 - 6300 - 4950 - 2550 - 1750 (would have died at 1750)
Him: 8000 - 6200 - 5200 - 4200 - 3900 - 3250 - 850 - 50

Match 2:
Woah, this was another crazy machine fest... I just
didn't have the Waboku's when I needed them... He got me...
But not before I attacked with Penguin Soldier, ha!

Me: 8000 - 9200 - 8500 - 7800 - 7500 - 6600 - 4500 - 1200 - 0
Him: 8000 - 7250 - 6000 - 5850 - 2800 - 2600

Match 3:
I got some heavy hits in, then he got the upper hand
for a bit, then I was forced to attack with Kuriboh! But in
the end, I prevailed somehow...

Me: 8000 - 7250
Him: 8000 - 6200 - 1700 - 1400 - 0

Fourth Duel: (semi-finals)
Me vs. Ilango (Yata / Hand Control)

Match 1:
This guy was very good. He won the coin and went first.
He placed an Exiled Force in ATK mode and set 1 card. I saw to my
utmost glee that I had both Creature Swap and Ameba in my hand!
This was it! I tried to stay calm as I summoned Ameba in ATK mode.
The crowd gasped as I then played Creature Swap! Dealing a quick
2000 points of damage with Ameba on the first turn was fine with
me! But, he chained his face down card, Scapegoat! And I was left
with some random goat on the field! Can you believe it!?
At least I got to pull off the Ameba damage though... I then got
some blows in on him and gave myself some health... but it was all
in vain when he Yata locked me!! AHH!!!! He had Yata, and I was
going to try to wait it out, when he Premature Burialed something...

Me: 8000 - 9200 - 9000 - ... - 0
Him: 8000 - 6000 - 5600 - 4600 - 4400

Match 2:
I started off ok and I hung in there... wheedling his life down
while trying to prevent the Yata lock... I can't remember too
much of this duel because I was starting to tire...
But I won!

Me: 8000 - 7600 - 8600 - 7500 - 7500 - 7000
Him: 8000 - 7200 - 6600 - 5800 - 4000 - 3000 - 2100 - 900 - 200 - 0

Match 3:
Things started off the same as the last duel, both of
us with ok hands... but then, he made the mistake of Dark Holing
at the very beginning of his turn. Why was that a mistake? Because
I had Neko Mane King down, leaving him wide open! Whoot!
Me: 8000 - 6900
Him: 8000 - 7200 - 6500 - 3600 - 2800 - 900 - 400 - 0

Final Round:
Let me just say, that Hank (who about to duel) had a bye. So he got
to stand and watch Ilango's and my duel... and when I managed a win,
he sat right down and I had to keep going... no rest... no secrets, arg..

Fifth Duel:
Me vs. Hank (Yata / Hand Control)
Match 1:
Hank is a nice guy too. We exchanged "It's time to d-d-d-duel"
at the beginning. I took some nice chunks off him, but he came back and Yata'd
me...

Me: 8000 - 5900 - 0
Him: 8000 - 7000 - 5800 - 5500 - 3600

Match 2:
Basically, exact opposite of the first duel :)

Me: 8000 - 6400 - 4800 - 6000 - 4900
Him: 8000 - 7800 - 7100 - 6400 - ... - 0

Match 3:
The heart of the cards were with me... wow was it with
me. I got two hands (thanks to his fiber early on) with Monster
Reborn plus monster removal. Combined with some monsters of my
own, I put the hurt on, and how.

Me 8000 - 6100 - 4200:
Him: 8000 - 3900 - 800 - 0

And just like that, it was over. I had won the tournament. Needless
to say, I was stunned. I collected my packs pulling Exile of the
Wicked from TP4, a Limiter Removal, and a Fusioh Richie (and other
less striking cards...)

Props:
Getting 1st place in an official tourney!
Dueling very nice duelists!
Pulling off my Ameba/Creature Swap combo!
Pulling off a Neko Mane King turn stopper!
Getting to duel an awesome Dragon Deck
Getting to duel an awesome Machine Deck
Getting to play in a team duel, it was the coolest!

Slops:
Trying to activate my own Imperial Order while my own Jinzo was on the field. Twice.
