This is my first tournament report, although I have been playing yu-gi-oh for a while. This is the tournament I go to regularly, and i'm currently in a battle for first place. Now, here's my deck:

Monsters-18
1 Jinzo
1 Airknight Parshath
1 Dark Ruler Ha Des
2 Gemini Elf
2 Spear Dragon
1 Goblin Attack Force
1 Skilled Dark Magician
1 Tribe Infecting Virus
1 Twin Headed Behemoth(very underrated card, provides tribute bate, and extra defense)
1 Witch of the Black Forest
1 Sangan
1 Fiber Jar
1 Sasuke Samurai
1 Exiled Force
1 Cyber Jar
1 Sinister Serpent

Magic-17
1 Raigeki
1 Dark Hole
1 Monster Reborn
1 Premature Burial
1 Harpies Feather Duster
1 Heavy Storm
3 Mystical Space Typhoon
1 Mirage of Nightmare
1 Change of Heart
1 Snatch Steal
1 Pot of Greed
1 Graceful Charity
1 Book of Moon(also a sometimes underrated card, perfect solution to jinzo)
1 United We Stand
1 Mage Power

Traps-6
1 Imperial Order
2 Waboku(in my opinion, the best trap next to mirror force)
1 Call of the Haunted
1 Mirror Force
1 Torrential Tribute

Total Cards-41

Just incase anyone is wondering, I decided not to run a Ring of Destruction. I chose to run Waboku instead. I got to the tournament kind of late, and almost didn't get a spot. Like I said before, i'm currently in a battle for first place with a great player. I have been in first place all of this season, but he won the last two tournaments. I lost in the second round of one, and then didn't come to the other one. Anyways, here's the tournament report.

Round 1
Me vs. Garret

First off, Garret is a good player with good cards, who just makes mistakes, and doesn't have as much experiance as some of the really good players.
We rolled a dice, I got the higher number, and choose to go first. (Oh, by the way, sorry if my memory is a bit foggy, I might have forgotten some details)I started the duel off with a sinister in defense, and a torrential tribute face down. He then played heavy storm, raigeki, summoned a skilled dark magician in attack mode, and proceeded to attack me for 1900.My turn, I dark holed, summoned a spear, and attacked him for 1900. I then set a call of the haunted face down. He then summoned a goblin and attacked my spear, who I just brought back with call of the haunted. I drew an elf, attacked goblin with spear, then attacked directly with elf. After that he started bluffing with magic cards face down, and I took the deul.
Me:8000-6100
Him:8000-6100-2300-0

Deul 2
This is where my memory gets foggy. We went back and forth for a couple of minutes, but then I just overpowered him.
Me:8000-5700-3400
Him:8000

Round 3
Me vs. Tyler

Tyler is the guy that i'm fighting with for first. He is a great player, and always gives me a challenge. He won the dice roll, and chose to go first. Once again, my memory is foggy, but I do know that this was a true duel between beatdowns. We went back and fourth, destroying each others monsters, and hitting each others life points. In the end though, I had a jinzo and something else on the field, and he had one monster and a magic\trap face down with 2400 LP's left. He summoned fairy lily in attack mode, and equipped it with mage power after setting another magic\trap face down, raising it to 1900 atk points. He then attacked my other monster with his other monster, then attacked my jinzo with his fairy lily for 2500. I had a space typhoon in my hand, and I drew a goblin. I then used typhoon on one of his face down cards, which I think was some kind of attack stopper, summoned goblin and attacked for game.
Me:8000-3700-1200
Him:8000-?-2400-400-0

Duel 2
This time I absolutly got my @$$ beat. A hyabusa with a mage, united, a couple of face-up monsters, and two more magic\trap cards doesn't do wonders for your life points. After that crazy assult, he used a ring of destruction for game!
Me:8000-1400-0(pitiful, is'nt it)
Him:8000-6100

Duel 3
All I remember is that once again we went back and fourth, attacking like crazy, but I was eventually able to come out on top.
Me:8000-????
Him:8000-????-0

Round 4

No dueling here, I got a bye!

Round 5

There were three people left: Me, Bryan, and John. John got the bye into the finals.

Me vs. Bryan

Bryan is a good player who doesn't enjoy running a basic beatdown, but instead likes to run creative (but good) decks. I think he was running a warrior-spellcaster deck, using the power of A-forces to get massive attack increases. I really can't remember any details of this duel, but I do know that he put up a good fight.
Me:8000-????(once again)
Him:8000-????-0

Pretty much the same thing here; he fought hard, but I eventually overpowered him.
Me:8000-6100
Him:8000-6100-2300-0

Round 5(finals)
Me vs. John

I think John is ranked first place at All About Sports, a place that I sometimes play. He runs a deck with 52-53 cards in it, but it is still very good. He went first, and summoned a gemini in attack mode. My turn, I summoned T-virus, discarded a jinzo to destroy his elf, the reborned his jinzo and attacked with both for 4000. He then used raigeki, summoned a monster(I think it was a goblin) and attacked me directly. My turn, I set a cyber jar, and ended my turn. He sacked his elf for a dark ruler, and attacked my cyber jar. On my turn, I didn't have any monsters, so I had to leave my feild open. He attacked me with dark ruler for 2450. I drew a witch, and set it in defense. He then summoned fairy lily, attacked witch with dark ruler, then finished it with lily.
Me:8000-5700-3250-0
Him:8000-4000-2000

Duel 2
All I can remember is that he put up a great fight, but ended up top-decking, and I was able to beat him with about 12-1500 life points left.
Me:8000-????
Him:8000-????-1100-0

Duel 3
From the very begining, I don't think he had a good hand. Near the end of the duel, he set a fiber jar, but dark ruler took care of that.
Me:8000-5200
Him:8000-6100-3300-900-0

I got $28 store credit, and used it to get a ceasefire, and four TP4, plus the one I got for participation.
