This week's tournament had only 16 people in attendance.  For the last two weeks there were more than 20 people;  maybe it had something to do with the fact that it was raining today.

I took the Servant of Catabolism out of the main deck and replaced it with A Cat of Ill Omen from the side deck.  A Cat of Ill Omen worked quite well after the tournament:  I just couldn't seem to draw A Cat of Ill Omen in the tournament.  Book of Moon proved to be an excellent replacement for Tribute to the Doomed.  I decided to put in three Chain Energy in place of Just Deserts, Ominous Fotunetelling, and The Dark Door (which went to the side deck).  The Chain Energy didn't work very well;  I think I will try Dark Snake Syndrome instead.  I finally purchased another Solemn Wishes and replaced Gift of the Mystical Elf.  Well, on with the tournament report.

Round 1                    Fury of the FIre Queen  vs.  ??? Deck

Duel 1

Roger the Skunk  8000-7500-8000-6600-7100-7600-8100
Mark  8000-7000-6750-6050-5550-4850-4150-3650-3150-2450-1450-0

My Solemn Wishes just kept on giving my life points right back to me, and my Fire Princess just took him out little by little.

Duel 2

Roger the Skunk  8000-7000-6000-5500-5000-5950
Mark  8000-7000-6500-6000-5500-5000-4500-4300-3800-2225-1575-575-0

I just can't remember what happened.

Round 2            Fury of the Fire Queen  vs.  Beatdown Deck

Duel 1

Roger the Skunk  8000-7700-8700-9700-10700-9400-9200-9000-8800-8600-8400-8200-8000-7800-7600-7400-7200-7000-6800-6600-6400-6200-4300-2400-2200-0
Dien  8000-7500-7000-6900-5600-4900

The reason why the score looks so weird is because of Dien's Yata-Garasu.  I made him attack until he was down to two cards left in his deck when he finally decided to use Call of the Haunted.  If his Call of the Haunted would have been on the bottom of his deck, then I would have won by decking him out.

Duel 2

Roger the Skunk  8000-6400-6900-7400-5500-200-700-1200-1700-1200-0
Dien  8000-7000-5100-3600

Solemn Wishes really kept me in the game and gave me a second chance, but alas still no win.  Dien managed to bring out Exiled Force a second time with Monster Reborn, thus turning the tides in his favor.  If he hadn't done that, I was about to draw a monster and Mirror Forcei.  That is just how the cards fall, though.

I traded a kid three spirit messages for a Drop Off.  Later I played against Judd's Exodia deck;  my Fury of the Fire Queen deck worked quite well against Judd's deck, but Judd still won.

Here are some of the changes I am planning to make to my deck:
Out:  Gaurdian Sphinx
In:  Marie the Fallen One

Out:  Last Will
In:  Graceful Charity

Out:  All three Chain Energy
In:  Two Dark Snake Syndrome and maybe Imperial Order

Tell me what you think of these ideas.  Thanks to all of you who sent me ideas;  they have been a great help.  If any of you have any questions or need help with Yu-Gi-Oh! just send me an e-mail.
