Me Vs The New Guy

~Duel 1
I really wasn't expecting what this guy was ready to hand me, to be honest;
He played some sort of cheap offensive/defensive deck. For the first several 
turns I drew absolut crud, no playable mosnter. He managed to get a few hard 
hits on me then. After I did I ran my attackers right into a couple 2000 of 
defenders. I exiled forced a LOT in this duel, trying to keep his monsters down,
and the field open for my attacks. From the sheer element of surprise, I was to
about 700 LP, rendering my discarders useless. He was still around 7200 when I 
started getting out the good stuff. He saw the flaming swords and shells coming
for him, and I pulled the win right out of my &#**... er... right out of my hat.

Final Score:
Him: 0
Me: 600

~Duel 2:
I sided a nobleman in for his face down monsters this duel, but I never got to use
it. I got a decent hand, and and used it to my advantage. I played yata as my only
summon on my first battle phase, rendering his draw useless, but leaving me open for
attack. I took a few little hits before finally locking him down. He seemed very put
out that he had lost.

Final Score:
Him: 0
Me: 6000+ (?)

I got a Bye. This was a wierd one, cause I didn't know I had it until Match Three.
Oh well. I really would have enjoyed doing a little more beating during this tourney.

Me Vs "Backstabbing Beatdown"

I really don't remember much about this matchup. I do know he ran way too many flips and
traps for his deck to really be worth it. His theme was "You hurt me, I'll hurt you." I
really believe I broke form and lost in one of the first 2 rounds to this guy, but I can't
be entirely certain. At least it was something new and different for me to face, and it was 
as far as the kid had ever gotten in a tourney.

Final Score:
2-1 : I think


~`~ Match Four ~`~
Me VS Exodia

~Duel 1
He let me do some side work before the duel, and I knew what was coming. I put in all my
anti-exodia cards before the match, and he knew it. He seemed cool with it. I kinda felt
guilty. Anyway, this was probably the longest duel I have ever played. People kept asking me
what round we were in, and I had almost forgotten myself at one point. His stall was nearly
impenetrable, and the only thing that really saved me was my beautiful Fiber Jar. I kid you
not, I used Fiber Jar AT LEAST 3 times in this duel, and once I was within 2 turns of decking
out. My hits were never very hard, and he managed to beat me down a little as well, but in the
end, we were both below 3000 and I flipped Fiber Jar. My friend was on my left givin' me
the magic chant, "Draw Lily, Draw Lily..." and I did. I attacked on an open field for the win.

Final Score:
Him: 0
Me: Less than 2000

~Duel 2
This one went much faster. I managed to hit him good and hard with Lily, and I exchanged a Raigeki
for an Exodia piece (hey... it won the game for me, Ok?) Anyway, we traded hits a lot in this duel.
He seemed to have given up on actually getting exodia and instead tried beating on me with his cannon
soldier. In the end, it came down to the fact that he had WaY too much stall out for me, so I just had
to flip my Jar for the first time in the duel. He had under 1100 LP left. I got a decent 5 cards. One was
forceful sentry, one was graceul, and one was painful choice. I sentried his hand to check for kuriboh
(no kuriboh there...) and painful choiced out all my big bad monsters. Attack with a Darkfire Soldier 
for the win.

Final Score:
Him: 0
Me: I don't remember

Me Vs MagicWeasel and his Tomato Paste

All I can say is, I got seriously creamed by this guy. His deck is a lot more serious about hand distruption
than mine is, and he plays a wicked combo of Mystic Tomato + Creature Swap, then attacks his own Tomato and 
gets out a Don Zaloog. He did that WaY too much for me, and he PWNZored my hand two rounds in a row. HuZZaH
for zhe weasel.


~`~ Thoughts ~`~
So yeah, I placed 2nd. Thats another improvement for me, a place above what I made a couple weeks ago.
I'm really happy to do so well with a Theme deck. I don't have a lot more to say, so its time for props
and slops.
