Subject: DrBubbles Nyan Nyan Deck Nova Scotia Canada This is my 2nd tourney that I've posted on here, both from the Hobby Shop in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. There were 48 people this time, 32 in the junior group and 16 in the senior. Entry fee is $5.00 and everyone gets one LOD pack. Bigger prizes are given at the end of eight weeks. Before the tournament, I traded 2 Mystic Tomatoes and a Giant Germ for a Book of Moon and a Torrential Tribute (that my brother later traded for a Creature Swap before I got to use it). Now, the DrBubbles Nyan Nyan deck: Monsters: Mystical Knight of Jackal x1 Airknight Parshath x2 Thunder Nyan Nyan x3 Asura Priest x2 Shining Angel x3 Witch of the Black Forest x1 Exiled Force x1 White Magical Hat x2 Cyber Jar x1 Fiber Jar x1 Hoshiningen x1 Magician of Faith x1 Sinister Serpent x1 Total=20 Magic: Pot of Greed x1 Change of Heart x1 Monster Reborn x1 Raigeki x1 Mage Power x1 United We Stand x1 Premature Burial x1 Giant Trunade x1 Mirage of Nightmares x1 Heavy Storm x1 Luminous Spark x1 Different Dimension Capsule x2 Mystical Space Typhoon x1 Graceful Charity x2 Harpie's Feather Duster x1 Snatch Steal x1 Total=18 Traps: Solumn Judgement x1 Torrential Tribute x1` Mirror Force x1 Imperial Order x1 Call of the Haunted x1 Total=5 Deck=43 The tournament was played in match form for round one only, and single-elimanation from there on in. Round #1- DrBubbles v. 100 + card deck, no one strategy. Turn one he had Tornado Wall, Legendary Ocean and Fisherman out. After destroying Fisherman with Mirror Force, I had total control but couldn't do damage due to Tornado Wall. Finally, I drew DDC, which I use to get out Heavy Storm. Once I got it and destroyed all of his M/T, I hit him for over 10,000 damage in one turn to win the game (Asura, Nyan Nyan, Parshath, Jackal w/ UWS). Duel #2- He drew three Ground Collapses opening hand. This was a long game, me trying to stall with traps, while he couldn't get anything stronger than Penguin Soldier out. Eventually, I drew Pot of Greed, which got me a DDC, which got me a Harpie's Feather Duster, followed by CotH and reborn, getting Jackal and Parsath out. I won three turns later. Score: 2300-0 and 1200-0 Round #2- DrBubbles v. Adrian ( think that was his name) In my opening hand, I drew a DDC that I played first turn, choosing Mirror Force. By the time I got it, I really needed it with him attacking with three monsters all 1800+ on his third turn. A few turns later, I was winning 3900-3700 when he destroyed my WOTBF. I brought out Fiber Jar and he attacked on his turn afetr already using his normal summon. Fiber Jar left him with nothing to play, while I drew Graceful Charity, White Magical Hat, UWS, Premature Burial and Asura Priest, which was more than enough to end it that turn. Round#3- DrBubbles v. Defensive Exodia deck. This game was not going my way at all in the beginning. He played Gravity Bind and MoP first turn, and I had no M/T removal.Next turn I drew DDC (which by this point in the game is my new favorite card) and used it to pick Fiber Jar. He was yet to play a monster face-up, so by the time I got Fiber Jar set I was confident he wouldn't attack. Flipped Fiber Jar on my turn, getting WMH, UWS, Call of the Haunted and a coup[le other traps. WMH attacks with UWS and discarded the Head.Next turn he plays facedown M/T which I MST on my turn and attack with WMH again, this time discarding Right Leg. This continued until he gave up. Final Round- DrBubbles v.Another Exodia deck ( the same guy I traded the Mystic Tomatoes to). I remember very little from this game, except I had to use DDC to get Fiber Jar out twice and I did the damage with Asura with Mage Power and UWS attacking his face-up Attack postion Sangan and WOTBF for 4900 damage. The next turn I used CoH on his Tomato and attacked with that and Asura for exactly 8000 damage to win the tournament. This is the second time that this deck (or something like it) has won this tournament. My pack for winning had the A Forces, but the pack I got afterwards had Lava Golem, the 4th Secret rera I've pulled (SND twice and Gemini Elf).
