Hello, all fellow duelists!  Most of you know me, and some of you may have just came across my Tournament Report, but I am Robert Sanders from Moline, Illionis.  Anyways, this tournament was one of the greatest tournaments that I have been to for quite a while.  I did alot of trading, did some upgrading, and here is what my deck looks like right now:

I have changed it quite a bit, but about half of these changes were after the tournament, like Don Zaloog.  This deck has helped out alot while up in Omaha, and it does as well in Trademart.
Well, the tournament started like every Saturday.  I walked into the store, paid $5.00 for pizza, pop, and entry fee, and said hello to all of the duelists there.  Jeric, William, Josh, and the person I haven't seen for 5 months, Tony Golden!  Jeric and I said hello and I challenged him to a duel first.  I won both times, but he said that he hasn't dueled for almost 6 months.  For 6 months of not dueling, that was pretty good.  Jeric also dueled him and he said that it was no sweat.
Well, I took a vote between the 28 duelists there and half wanted to do singles and the other half wanted teams.  Jeric and I were coaches for singles, while Tony and Josh were coaches for doubles.  Well, I set up the tournament and my first opponent was:

Round One: Aaron vs. Me
He was very excited when I told him that I would put him in my tournament report.  He was also a pretty cool kid that comes every Saturday, too.  Anyways, the duel started and I started with a monster in defense mode.  It was his turn and he played Graceful Charity.  He discarded Spear Dragon and another card, then he used Premature Burial to revive it.  He attacked my Mystic Tomato, but I brought forth a Witch of the Black Forest.  On my turn, I sacrificed it for Helpoemer in set mode.  On his turn, he powered up his Spear Dragon and attacked it, making him lose a card in his hand every turn.  On my turn, I set Torrential Tribute down and set a monster in defense mode.  On his turn, he summoned a monster and I countered with my trap.  The match then kept going on and on and Fiber Jar was played.  Eventually, I played Change of Heart on Magician of Faith, flipped it, then used it as a tribute for Jinzo, doing direct damage.  Then he set another monster in defense mode and on my turn, I played Change of Heart and used his Man-Eater Bug for Dark Ruler Ha Des and finished him.  Here is what the life points looked like: Me: 8000-6500-3000 Him: 8000-7200-5800-2600-0
On the second match, I started off with Delinquent Duo and Confiscation to deplete half of his hand.  I set Cyber Jar in defense mode and he attacked it, activating the effect.  After that, we were battling back and forth until I finished him off with Kycoo the Ghost Destroyer.  He played a good match, and reminded me of the duels I had up in Omaha, Nebraska.  These were the life points: Me: 8000-7000-6000-5500-3000 Him: 8000-7000-5300-4000-2200-0
Well, my current score is 2-0.
Round Two: Me vs. Kaz
Kaz was also thrilled to be mentioned over the internet, so he had a great attitude by giving me everything he got.  Unfortunately for him, I had a very good hand this round.  The first turn flew by so quickly that all I remember was that I Monster Reborned his Summoned Skull and inflicted 7600 direct damage.  On my next turn, I finished him with Spear Dragon.  The life points were: Me: 8000-7000 Him: 8000-400-0
On the second match, the match was to my advantage from the start.  I used his strategy against his using Change of Heart and I will let the life points tell the story: Me: 8000 Him: 8000-5300-1100-0
       My current score is 4-0.
Round Three: Me vs. Nate
I can't really say much about this match because I am not the greatest when it comes to taking notes :( , but he played a Beatdown and it does some good damage.  He used cards like Zombyra, but also used Gemini Elfs.  All that I recall was that I finished him off with a Mystic Tomato.  Here are the life points, though: Me: 8000-7300 Him: 8000-5200-2700-1900-500-0.
On the second match, I summoned for Dark Ruler Ha Des early in the game and I was on a roll for a while, but he killed it with an easy card.  Afther that, I stalled with Imperial Order until I can quickly finish him off immediately.  He did great and he is a great guy, but I am afraid that he lost.  I must say that he is one of the best duelists there.  Great job, Nate :)  Here are the life points: Me: 8000-7200-6500 Him: 8000-4550-2000-0  My current score is  6-0.
Round Four (Final Round): Me vs. Jeric H.
The almighty and powerful Jeric is once again my last opponent.  We haven't had a match like this in a while, so we were both very excited.  I started by inflicting heavy damage with Spear Dragon for 2900 life points.  For almost the entire match, Jeric had a hard time with the Spear Dragons.  After he finished them off, I finished him with a suprising Magic Cylinders.  Here are the life points for this amazing battle: Me: 8000 Him: 8000-5100-2400-500-0
On the second match, he was having a little trouble with the Spear Dragon at the beginning, but he defeated it.  After that, we went back and forth, ofcourse over time he was in the lead.  We tied up Kycoos one minute and I lost the next.  The life points went something like this: Me: 8000-5600-5400-3600-2550-750-0 Him: 8000-6700-6500-5900-5050
I was very shook up after the last round, so I was going to play smarter this time.  Ofcourse, after taking notes for the entire day, I ran out of room to make many notes, so I can only say that I won by a good hand.  You could say that I have "Heart of the Cards."  The life points went like this: Me: 8000 Him: 8000-7300-500-0
Round ?: Me vs. Michael L.
This was a rather unexpected match, for I had to take on the winner of the loser's bracket.  Anyways, I started with Mystic Tomato as my prime weapon, and inflicted damage with it.  Eventually, he brought up Goblin Attack Force and defeated them.  On my turn, I summoned Kuriboh in attack mode and equipped it with Axe of Despair.  He was laughing as I defeated his defense-position Goblins and played Snatch Steal on his turn.  He used my Kuriboh against me, but considering how many life points he had left, I summoned Spear Dragon and finished the game.  Oh, I almost forgot the life points: Me: 8000-6600-6500-6200 Him: 8000-6600-3800-2000-1500-0
After shuffling our decks, the next match began.  For the next couple of turns, I "speared" him, then he "speared" me, then I "speared" him, then I used Dark Ruler Ha Des.  He KOed my Ha Des with fat Bazoo, but I Cyber Jared it.  Later, he had Injection Fairy Lily out and I knew that he would try to overpower me, so I tributed my Mystic Tomato for Jinzo and equipped him with two Axe of Despair and finished him with the almighty and powerful Jinzo and Spear Dragon.  Great duel :)
The Aftermath:
Jeric and I reported the results of the tournament and I was the only one to get a pack for being in first.  The downside about it was that it was from LOD.  The great part was that the rare was The Marauding Captain, BAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMM!!!!!
Well, until next time, good luck and Happy Dueling :)

Pros:
*Alot of good trading today
*I got first
*Jeric got second
*Marauding Captain
*Don Zaloog
*The duelists this Saturday were challenging
*Jinzo, Dark Ruler Ha Des, and Helpoemer saves the day :)
*Tod makes great tournaments
Cons:
*Headache from all of the kids (that's normal to me)
*No chicken pizza
*Tod gave me a LOD pack instead of PGD
*Tod didn't give Jeric or Michael anything for second or third
*Jeric couldn't get first, too
