I was excited and could not wait to enjoy a whole day of Yu-Gi-Oh. I arrived there early and waited in line. Soon I started seeing familiar faces and registration began. I had two goals for the day: beat the UpperDeck Masters and collect all the stickers for the badge. I quickly went to the Millenium Puzzle Challenge and dropped my entry form off. While waiting for my name to get picked, I went to the other stations to collect stickers. Good news, I was able to collect all the stickers. Bad news, I lost to the Masters. They were tough, but definitely not unbeatable. I was glad that some people that I knew from our store were able to beat them. I really wanted to sign my name in that book, but today was not my day. I spent most of the day playing people that I never met before. It was very interesting to see, meet and duel new people. I saw many different kinds of decks. At the mall tour, I also met up with some duelists from Sacramento: John, Jennifer and Nate. Good people and good duelists. They came all the way down from Roseville to duel and to play in our tournament. Hopefully they enjoyed their trip as much as we enjoyed having them as guests. Not much else to say. If UpperDeck decides to extend the mall tour and go to more cities, I would recommend attending. What’s up! to the Yu-Gi-Oh! duelists at a World of Books. Get lost! to the thieves that steal cards.
