It's supposed to be like a transformation-deck. It goes from Light/Mini-Disrupt to burner. Yeah, weird. But it is only effective when you know WHEN to switch. $5 to Enter >_< No Season 3 Packs? Duel 1: Voltaire vs. Rob You know what's great about Yu-Gi-Oh!? It's that age doesn't matter. Rob is a great player... of age, 8 or 10 or something... but he's still a lot better than me. First duel, I start out with my pure white, blinding light deck. My early advances thwart him... I play my Hysterics and Neos and White Magical Hats with Luminous Sparks out. He makes little mistakes like attacking my White Magical with a Fire Princess... while Luminous is illuminating the field. He gets his Marie the Fallen One in his graveyard and gains 200 life each turn. And he's got Cure Mermaids and Solemn Wishes protecting him. Finally, I attack for a couple of turns with White Magical equipped with Axe. I'm at 1600. He plays Change of Heart... I look desperately for a counter... if not, I'm finished by my own creature. Fairy Box. I call heads... win or lose, all depends on the outcome of that coin toss. HEADS! I take the first duel. Second, I try my strategy to switch to burner. It takes like 10 minutes, and he complains all throughout it, but when I'm done, I have myself a burning white light. Blind them, then burn them. Perfect penitence, right? Well, this one goes on longer. He gets out Messenger of Peace, Marie in his graveyard, 2 Solemn Wishes, Cure Mermaid, Fire Princess... A whole lotta stuff. Only ones I get out are Hoshi and Neo. Well... He has probably more than 20000 life points... insanely enough. Even when I storm his wishes, beat up his monsters, Just Desserts his Homies(that's what he calls his Scapegoats... inside joke.) I... I... deck out. This time is worse off. I'm stuck with a hand full of magic and traps. It's the Yu-Gi-Oh! San Mateo mall tour all over again. Meh, those frikkin' "Professionals" beat me. Let me just tell you that when I switched over to my burner... and this I only know now... I'm left with 12... yes, 12... creatures. Meh. But I was too lazy to switch back and he wanted to end it. Plus, Chris was hurrying up real fast. So I played Princess, and set Just Desserts. BAM! Nobleman. He attacks with Fire Princess, then plays Messenger. I'm left with 10 monsters. I play another monster, this time cyber jar. He plays Cure Mermaid and then ends. I flip, I get... Neo. He gets 2 of his insane stall deck cards and plays them face-down. I can't do jack squat. I set another Just Desserts and Ceasefire. Next turn he sacs a creature for a face-down one. I know what it is... Marie. *rolls eyes* ...again. More turns, and I have nothing again. His dancing Fairies and others have taken over. !!! 4... monsters? *is an idiot* I play Just Desserts. 2, in fact. And Ceasefire. That's 6500. Next turn, Pot. Dark Hole and Mask of Darkness. I want to desserts him again... what are his f-in' lifepoints at? Dancing Fairy, Solemn Wishes, Cure Mermaid, Spirit of the Breeze? @#!#!@# I set Mask. He kills it with Fire Princess. I get back Just Desserts. ...in my avarice, I don't play Dark Hole, but instead set Just Desserts. Meh. A loser is me! Tourney Highlights: -Well... got in a lot of good duels today. I got killed by like 8 turns of Smiley the Morphing Jar. That's the TP-2 Jar that John actually pulled. Cons: -Meh, my stupid sidedeck messed me up... AGAIN. Meh-age. -Grah. Chris says D&R has lost its lease... might be closing down. ;_; Oh, where shall I turn? -Voltaire Abaya(Eternal) -Thunderv11@yahoo.com -Note: Meh... my "Original" deck ideas keep getting me killed. Next time, I'm joining the crowd. Beatdown? Clown Control? SOMETHING?!?
