Why? I don't need them. Yes, my deck lacks overall strength but as you'll see, it doesn't phase me one bit. If I run into problems (Exodia or something), I can throw that duel and then just switch what I need from what's in my Side Deck. I am desperatly needing cards like Delinquent Duo, Confiscation, Snatch Steal, Axe of Despair but I have yet to find them. NOTE: Magic Ruler came out in the area at this point. FIRST MATCH Marcus Abreu (Ranked: 94) V.S Me Report: This duel was tough and I was the huge underdog. I remember he started out by discarding Thunder Dragon to get to more out of his deck. In the end, I won the first duel. I thought he threw it away, like some sort of mind game and it worked to his advantage. In the second duel, he played Thunder Dragon on the field. For reasons I do not know. I played Change of Heart and took control of it, then I attacked with it and a La Jinn for 3400. In the end, he beat me. Final match was the most difficult. It came down to me risking 1000 Life Points to attack with a Dark Elf to clear the field of his face-down monster and attack with some other monsters. I think the reason he lost was he kept playing Upstart Goblin and while he drew a card, I gained 1000 Life Points. SECOND MATCH Me V.S Don't Remember The Name, I think it was Jacob or something Report: I played this guy pre-tournament and won so I expected to win this aswell. He seemed like a novice but he was fairly good for his age. He had cards like Mirror Force, etc. I did some massive damage with Dark Elf and this proves how good Dark Elf is. I felt like this was a bye. THIRD MATCH Angelo V.S Me Report: I don't remember the first duel very well. All I remember is that I won. Second duel was tougher. Angelo liked to play Gravekeeper's Servant and that annoyed me. I thought I would deck myself out. He made an amazing comeback even though I brought him down to 100. Third duel was HARD. I won because I had a face-down Man-Eater Bug, I flipped it and destroyed his face-down monster, played Swords of Revealing Light and he had so little Life Points, I attacked for 450. Afterwards, everybody was "shunning" him. I never got that joke. FOURTH MATCH Me V.S Bye Report: This was easy. I just stood there and took the bye! Hurray! FIFTH MATCH Me V.S Dexter Report: I didn't know who the heck Dexter was but he was fairly good. He played Barrel Dragon and other Tribute monsters. The first duel was close. He took off a lot of my Life Points but I ended him beating him. The second match was pathetic. I only attacked him ONCE. He proved his worth to me with that one duel. If I wanted to win this tournament, I would need to have beat him in this one duel. I did just that. It was tough. He had very good cards but I had better. I had automatically secured 50 points but if I wanted an extra point, I would need to beat to winner of the last Tournament. SIXTH MATCH Me V.S Alex Natsuk (Ranked: 122) Report: I thought I would just win but the tournament organizers said I won half the tournament and if I wanted to win the whole thing, I would need to beat Alex. Alex said I had no chance and I guess he was right. He beat me in straight duels. I think I played very poorly. In both duels, he could have beat me in more ways than one. I thought I had chance, since I beat Marcus and Angelo but I guess it didn't matter in the end. He played 3x Cyber Jar and since there were no restrictions at the time, it gave him a major edge. PROPS: -My deck, it kicks butt! -My mom, she drove me there -The three Magic Ruler packs I bought, I got Toon World! -Thong "Tiny" Tran, even though you don't play anymore, you helped my deck a lot. -The bye I got... -Angelo, for giving me Crab Turtle and some other commons for a dollar (he bought a Lemonade with it...) -Pojo, for posting this tournament report SLOPS: -Untouchables' Computer, you piece of junk! Making me have to fight so many good people! -Tournament Rules, I didn't understand why I had to fight Alex, still don't -Alex, I will beat you, that was just a fluke! -Everybody at my school, "your deck has no strong monsters, it sucks" now who's the best? None of you even bothered to participate in a tournament.
