In this tournament they had a restriction list for Japanese cards
and you had to use their translation list only. Also promo cards
were allowed but only English promos. If you didn't follow the
restricted list you would be disqualified and you wouldn't get your
money back. Before the tournament I had traded my aqua madoor
and a flower wolf for a heavy storm. I don't remember his name though
but props to him. Also I traded my thunder dragon for an extra 7 colored
fish from another kid. I had bought 2 booster packs and I got a Dark elf,
a milus radient, and a Big eye. I had battled 4 people before the
tournament and won every single one of them.

Monsters to Magic/Trap: 25/21

                                                                            First Match
Han (me) vs. Griffin (some deck not sure)
1st Duel
Han (me): 8000
Griffin: 8000, 7700, 5900, 5300, 5200, 3400, 0 (dead)
He was a very nice kid but he was a noob. I went first I had placed down a La Jinn. Then he placed a Mysterious
Puppeteer in attack. I went and I killed it with a Giant Soldier Of Stone then I attacked with La Jinn. He attacked my
La Jinn with a Hitotsu-Me Giant and lost 600 life points. Then I used Card Destruction and placed down the Man
Eater Bug I got. Then I attacked his Hitotsu Me Giant with Giant Soldier Of Stone. Then I attacked his life points
with La Jinn. He had no level 4 monsters so he skipped his turn. I had finished off his life points off with La Jinn.

2nd Duel
Han (me): 8000
Griffin: 8000, 6200, 4400, 1400, 0 (dead)
I went first again and I placed down a La Jinn.( I know this sounds familiar ) Then he skipped because all he had
was high level monsters. Then I placed down another La Jinn and I attacked his life points with both La Jinns.
He still had no monsters so he went through his turn again.  Then I tributed both of my La Jinns for a BEWD.
I had attacked his life points with BEWD. He stilled had no monsters. ( I felt kind of bad though ) I finished the
game off by attacking his life points with BEWD.

                                                                        Second Match
Han (me) vs.Nick ( not a noob he had beaten a really good duelist )
1st Duel
Han (me): 8000, 7700, 7500, 6500
Nick: 8000, 7900, 7800, 6150, 3950, 0 (dead)
This was a very nice and great duelist. I wasn't able to write down notes in this duel so I'm mostly guessing.
I remember that I attacked his Mystical Elf with a Battle Ox. ( it was face down ) Then I forgot but he put me down
to 7500.  I also remember he killed several of my guys.  Then I used Shadow Ghoul and he tried to Trap Hole it but
I used Seven Tools Of The Bandit. ( that's where I lost 1000 life points ) Then it was down hill from there. I forgot. ( lol )

2nd Duel
Han (me): 8000, 7800, 7500, 6300
Nick: 8000, 7700, 5200, 2600, 0 (dead)
This duel was a very tricky one. I had an idea of what he was doing because of my first duel with him. He really
liked using Curse Of Darkness a lot though I usually had a Remove Trap. Curse of Darkness is a permanent trap
Japanese card that targets a monster, reduces its attack by 700 and it can not change modes neither it can attack.
Meaning I sacrificed the monster he used that trap on. One time I used The Stern Mystic and I saw his Trap Hole.
I had a BEWD and a Monster Reborn. I tributed both of my cards to bring out BEWD then I reborned him. After that
it was downhill from there.

                                                                        Third Match
Han (me) vs. Brian (cheater guy with monster removal)
1st Duel
Han (me): 8000, 4400, 2200, 1400, 0 (dead)
Brian: 8000, 5800
THIS GUY CAN CHEAT! He was forgetting almost every rule in the book. He tried using equip magic cards during my
turn.  ( Word is that he got really close to being disqualified for cheating in both rounds ) Though I wish he was!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He always got his Barrel Dragon out though he would never let me see his deck if he had too many of anything though
I let him.

2nd Duel
Han (me): 8000, 6200, 5200, 3400, 2400, 1100, 900, 0 (dead)
Brian(cheater! cheater! cheater!): 8000, 7800, 7100
This battle was a lot like the last duel but I put up more of a fight. So what have we all learned??? brian = cheater!

OK! So I got 5th place out of 32 which is not that bad for a first. ( though I have been dueling for a while )
If I had beat brain I would have gotten at least 4th and a prize but I didn't. 1st place got $80.00 in store credit, 2nd
place got $60.00 in store credit, (I think) 3rd got $30.00 in store credit, and 4th got several Metal Raiders Boosters.
