So in case you havent noticed, this is deck is basically a mix between a standard and a power up. I am planning to vastly change this deck, though.

Well, I got there at literally the scheduled last minute (2:59 PM) and signed up. Youch..  six dollars entry fee. And so, after all of the ruckus I met up with my friends and it started about 5 minutes later. I told one of my friends who had a few magic ruler cards in his deck that you couldnt use magic ruler cards yet in tournaments, but apparently this one you could. Which basically stunk because I only brought 3 with me, just to show off to my friends. So, I quickly put two in my deck (one of them was the secret rare yet pretty weak Serpent Night Dragon). Two tributes for 2350 ATK/2400 DEF? Nahh..

This was a new one, they made us roll two dice on the table one by one. I was the last one to roll, as I was the last one to sign up. Finally, it was my turn to roll. I got a 00 and a 4, which was a 4. That matched me up and we were ready to go.

SDWS (me) VS Some 8 or 9 looking kid, possibly named Andrew

Round 1

First duel:  This kid had a poor deck, or hes just a bad player. He played face down defense monsters all the game and filled the M/T the first turn. After a seemingly eternal while, I drew Summoned Skull, my long awaited card. I tributed a 7CF for it, but he Trap Holed it! So, I drew Monster Reborn. Reborn SS onto the field. Equipped him with Axe of Despair (+1000 ATK!)  DarkEnergy(+300), and SwordDarkDes(+400). My Battle Ox killed the last DEF monster (it was a Winged Dragon) and I attacked his LP directly and did 6,000. When he drew, he smiled and said YES! and played Raigeki (how did this little kid with this bad deck have such a good card)?! Well, I activated a trap which I set at the beginning, which was Magic Jammer. I think you know who won. SDWS: 8,000 Andrew: 8,000 2,000 - 0

Second duel: Almost the same thing happened. He Card Destructed. I drew MonReborn to bring back Summoned Skull. Later I equipped him the same way. This kid said he had no hands with monsters in the hands, so I defeated him in two turns. SDWS: 8,000 9,000 8,000 Andrew: 8,000 3,800 0

Oh, I got 9,000 from Dian Keto. I beat that kid so fast it wasnt even funny. I had 30 minutes to spare.

So, I checked with the two friends of mine who entered. They were still playing. Checked later, they both won.

Round 2

Finally it came. So, the games were called, and I finally had a chance to sit down.

SDWS Vs Stu

First duel: Well, this fight was pretty lame. I know he cheated when he shuffled my deck, because for 4 turns in a row I never got a monster card. And so, I was at 1,500; him 8,000. Finally, some relief. I was able to play Dark Hole on him and bring out La Jinn. I equipped him with Axe of Despair and Sword of Dark Destruction, making his ATK 3500! Not bad for a L.4. So I direct damaged his lying, cheating, no good bum. He got mad. I was very glad I was about to even up the score with this guy, but he played Ring of magnetism on my Lajinn. Oh well, so I Dded him, but with only 3,000 ATK b/c of RoM. Now he had 1000 LP. He played Block Attack. Lucky. So then he played a La Jinn. I couldnt attack, but I did play de-spell and got ridda RoM. He played another La Jinn. I never saw this on the field before, 3 La Jinn, and one at 3500 ATK. I attacked the original, but he played Waboku! He tributed for BEWD and played Sword of Deep-Seated. We were evenly matched. Curse him I thought, because he is so lucky yet he cheats so much. I drew Tremendous Fire, played it. Now I had 500 and he had 500. He played Ookazi and thought he won. Heheh, he met my friend Magic Jammer. I drew RoM, and was equipping it to his BEWD, but he said thats illegal. I said no its not, and you know it. You just did it to my La Jinn. He said I guess... So, I attacked the RoMed BEWD and won!. SDWS: 8,000 6,200 3,200 1,000 500 Stu: 8,000 4,500 500 - 0

Second Duel: OK, this time I* shuffled my own cards and asked the judge in the store to cut mine. And when I cut Stus, I cut it into 5 pieces, so it was completely randomized. So with that brilliant strategy, I proved to him cheating in the game of Duel Monsters gets you nowhere, and demolished him with my other new MRL card, Maha Vailo. With every card equipped to her, she gains an extra 500 ATK. If you cannot tell, this is the PERFECT card for my deck. So, I got her ATK up to 4,000 with Axe of Despair and Sword of DS and crushed ol Stuy boy in two turns. SDWS: 8,000 Stu: 8,000 4,000 0

I think I may have taught him a lesson because he was silent during the last match and shook my hand after I won. Maybe Ill see em next Saturday.

By this time, me and my friends were hungry. We went to the food court in the mall, ate a pizza. But, we lost track of time, and got Dqed for being late! Doh.

Props: Stu for being friendly after winning, my new Axe of Despair, and that pizza. Tasted pretty good.

Slops: Stu for cheating, having to pay for part of the pizza, getting Dqed for being late.

Overall, it was OK. I couldve gotten farther though.
