The Perdition Matrix Deck, Miles Lewis, Collectors' Paradise, Woodland Hills, CA
Participants: 25
The tournament I shall be inditing about was held on a chilly Sunday, (Sept.29). Despite the chill I was prepared and with alacrity entered the store sporting a blue shirt and a reputed deck. I was not as punctual as usual, making it just a few minutes before tournament matriculations were placed. The duels began extemporaneously, and to tenantively expiate my ramblings here's my deck:

So, my first relegation LOL was to a young adult named Chris. His visage hints at his prowess, what a facade. He was not nearly as difficult as I had postulated. I flustered him with my Magic Ruler attack force. My Spellbinding Circle and Invader of the Throne allowed me to dispatch his hope quite swiftly. He conveyed to me that he hardly drew any Magic Cards/Trap Cards and that he had a paucity of such in his deck.

My Next opponent was a 10? year old kid named Amir, he's nice but a bit pugnacious and once I immolated his only hope, a trap (Trap Hole), he exploded. His arsenal about comprised Magical Life Point Deduction cards, let's say 3 tremendous Fires, 3 Ookazis, 3 Final Flames. He too was rather shocked by my Magic Ruler armaments. My La Jinns and Fishes found purchase in his languishing ala vital (latin*).

The subsequent match was against an old friend, Richard Yu. He has a decent deck but finds his line up triturated by my superior monsters. It was a battle of Magics and Traps until this blitzkreig of such fell. It was a descrepency of monsters now. He had about 800 Life Points Left when I brandished my Big Eye, he was lustily staring at his card in hand, I didn't trust it, I played my Delinquent Duo, it happened the card was Kuriboh, the one card that could have ended my turn. He of course cursed and called me evil but that is what duelist denotes, does it not?

This duel was for second, I was against a Russian Rival of mine, Alex Bykov. He has forged a deck out of some omitted Magic Ruler cards, Toll, and Chain Energy. He activated two Chain Energies on his first turn, leaving me dying in the ramifications of my own card plays. I fell to about 2050 when he flipped his Cyber Jar, an ingenious play by all means, if I received more than two monsters in this draw he'd be victorious. La Jinn *okay*, Waboku *Good*, Man-Eater Bug *Oh please, no*, Kuriboh *The Ignominy!*.. Well in short he won, but I got pretty far.

We still had to duke it out for 3rd. I was against this small rather flaccid kid. His deck turned up a few clever moves, but with my Magic Rulers he died where he stood. It was far to casual, no one really cared, my Mirror Force and Spellbinding Circle Extinguished his brazen semblance of hope. His deck was filled with dark ameliorations, didn't do much though, his La Jinns and Summoned Skulls had quite a sectarian use.

Well I won 3rd, not bad, 10 dollars! My brother had had to leave earlier on to take a Violin Lesson. I empathised with him, felt kinda bad, and decided to purchase for him a Magic Ruler pack, he recieved a Mystical Space Typhoon, my luck. I lost my money on that, but it was magnanimous, a good deed. There were only about 25 people this time, quite a small amount, but that simply sublimates it. Hope you enjoyed reading about my experience email me if you want any suggestions or if you would like to comment on my deck, or just contour a Yugioh correspondence, Miles Lewis, signing off.
