So anyway, my bro's friend bought me, my bro-er, and his friend to the tourney. We registered (it wasn't official) and watched some pre-tournament duels. People were trading and buying packs. So at about 5:30 the duels started. Me vs. Some kid I won this, staying at 8000 LP both times. He was a rookie and didn't know how to play. He kept playing Ryu-Rans each turn so I had to correct him about Tributing. I just got out Summoned Skulls and pounded him. After this, we had to wait like a half hour for this duel to finish. Now, on to round 2. Me vs. some other kid This kid knew how to play, and had a basic beatdown. I put down Wall of Illusions. He Soul Exchanged it for his Dark Magician but I had a Trap Hole. I won after this by getting out a La Jinn, Harpie's Brother, and a Summoned Skull and just pounded him. The next duel was cool. We both had an army of creatures until I drew a Dark Hole and attacked for Direct w/ a 1800 attacker. He couldn't defend after that. I won. After this we had to wait again for these two slow duelists. I played the store owner for fun. He had an almost all holo deck. I pulled off my Insect Barrier/DNA Surgery combo. He slowly beat me when he got a Heavy Storm, though. Me vs. My brother I didn't want to face him so early. We're both good. It started basic. He had a Nimble Momongs face down. I attacked it with a harpie's brother equipped with fairy meteror crush to deal 700 damage to him. After this, I drew hayabusa knight and equipped him with some stuff to make him a 2400 attack. I attacked twice with him for direct which was 4800 damage, winning it for me. The next duel was tricky. He got me down to like 2300 life befor killed him. In the middle of the duel, I remember he attacked my la jinn with a creature that had like 3000 attack and I flipped enchanted javelin. It went downhill for him, as I slowly managed to bring out a barrel dragon and 2 summoned skulls for the kill. The finals were next. FINALS Me vs. Edgar Edgar wasn't good, but he wasn't bad. Right now, I was in the lead of the tourney with 9 points. This win would give me 12. The first match was quick. He equipped a stern mystic with a malevolent nizzler and thought he was winnin until I soul exchanged it for a summoned skull equiped with a malevolent nuzzler and a horn of the unicorn. He couldn't defend for the rest of the duel. In the next duel I pulled off a very early souped-up hayabusa knight. It stayed on the field for a long time and I got out 2 harpie's brothers. He literally got no creatures. I won. I got first place and 4 pharoah's servant boosters. The best cards I got were magical hats, attack and receive, another shift and enchanted javelin, magic drain, another hayabusa knight, kiseitai, and a 4-starred ladybug of doom. Props- To me for getting those awesome cards and 1st place To my bro and his friend for getting 2nd To this cheater that didn't show up like last time Slops- To that loser out there who traded this beginner a labyrinth wall for the little kids suijin.
