Thank you for the e-mails, and I will make this tourney report slightly shorter as some of you have requested. Also about the e-mails, if you wish to duel me I’m always at the store whose address is listed at the bottom of the page .Its been a while since my last submission, due to my tournament-losing streak. The location where the tournament took place was GetAGame.Com in New York. I was excited about this tournament since there was a buzz about a lot of people signing up, and about 50 people showed up. The tournament was designed so that the person who gets 2 out of 3 games wins. The winner of the tournament got a tournament pack and points on Upper Deck. First place got a choice of 12 packs of tournament packs, 6 packs of magic ruler, or 3 packs of pharaoh’s servant. Second place got 3 extra tourney packs and a buster blade card. Third place got 2 extra packs of tourney packs. Everyone who signed up for the tournament and paid the cheap five-dollar entrance fee got a tournament pack, so in a sense everyone came out winning. The first person two lose got 2 tournament packs instead of one, so even the loser comes out the winner. After losing in the last tournament it was back to square one, but after taking it to the in-store deck mechanic I entered the tournament with confidence, and a reanimated faith in the Heart Of The Cards. This is what my Deck Looked Like: Monsters – 20 3x Maha Vailo 3x Seven Colored Fish 2x Summoned Skull 2x Witch of the Black Forest 2x Man-Eating Bug 2x Magician of Faith 2x La Jinn 1x Wall Of Illusion 1x Cyber Jar 1x Mask Of Darkness 1x Sanga Magic/Trap Cards - 29 1x Snatch Steal 2x Fissure 1x Exchange 1x Malevolent Nuzzler 2x Black Pendants 2x MegaMorph 2x Trap Hole 2x Seven Tools Of The Bandit 2x Heavy storm 2x Axe Of The Despair 2x Swords of Revealing Light 2x Waboku 1x Mirror Force 2x Magic Jammer 1x Pot Of Greed 1x Raigeki 1x Dark Hole 1x Change Of Heart 1x Monster Reborn Round 1: Zealot (Me) Vs. Joshua The kid I faced in the match was about 10 years old, so I was defiantly feeling confident. I won the coin toss and decided he should go first. He put down La jinn and a magic//trap card and ended his turn. I put down a man-eater bug and black pendant face down in the magic/trap zone. He tribute to the dooms my man-eater and put down a 7 colored fish, attacking me with a total of 3600 direct dmg. At this point I begin to feel pee run down my leg. I draw pot of greed and get a change of heart and a snatch steal together. I play them both and using the la Jinn I change of hearted as a tribute bringing out my summoned skull. I attack with a total of 4300 direct dmg points, and I’m back in control. Somewhere down the line he plays dark hole, and I monster reborn and I win that game. In the second match he pulls out toon world and he plays 2 toon mermaids, but I end up pulling a change of heart, fissure monster reborn and heavy storm, and dominate him. I advance to the next round. Round 2: Zealot (Me) Vs. Micheal (I Think) The kid I played in this round was younger than the kid I played in the first. I knew for a fact this kid had nothing to offer me, and as the duel went on my suspect ions were confirmed. The highlight of this match was finally being able to use Exchange in a tournament, but as I tried to read the kids facial expression I caught a headache from his coke bottle glasses. I win almost flawlessly. Round 3: Zealot Vs. Bladder I got a bye in round 3 since I had almost 2 flawless victories in the last round. However, I still had to struggle with my urge to pee. Round 4: Zealot Vs. Slow # 2 The moment I waited 2 weeks for had arrived. Me versus slow #2, I could smell the fear emitting from him, but then again it coulda been his jacket. The duel started off just how I like it. I draw a Maha vailo , axe of despair, 2 black pendants, and a man-eater bug. He goes first and he lays a monster face down. I put down my man-eater bug. Next turn he man-eater bugs my man-eater bug and tributes for his summoned skull, doing 2500 direct dmg. I pull snatch steal next turn, I take his summoned skull and equip all my little equip magic cards to my maha, and do a whole lotta dmg. He put down a monster face down, snatch steals my maha vailo, raigekis my summoned skull, and does a shitload of dmg to me. I draw nothing good, I put down a man-eater bug. He flips his magician of faith and uses raigeki on me again, he attack, and I play waboku. I pull cyber and think my prayers were answered, I put it down and end turn. He flips his magician of faith, pulls raigeki from his graveyard, and I at this point I feel a ball of hate develop as I watch his little, obnoxious, dyslexic, turrets syndrome ridden smirk mock my defeat. The second game resembled the first, but as I started putting cards and down and holding back on the other in my hand, it began to take shape. At some point he had my summoned skull with snatch steal, his own summoned skull, La Jinn, and a 7 colored fish on the field. I had no monsters on the field but I had a waboku. In my hand I held a heavy storm, maha Vailo, megamorph, axe of despair, raigeki, and monster reborn. He attacks I waboku. I play heavy storm, then raigeki, I monster reborn my summoned skull, I megamorph it, bring out my maha vailo and equip axe of despair on it, and proceed to rape his life points in a jailhouse bathroom fashion without the prison lube. I’m not going to get into the details of this next game since this is where I lose, but believe me where I say I had it one. There was one point where I forget to trap hole his summoned skull, but had I dun it the outcome would have totally different with me domination him, and winning due to damage from black pendants equipped to my monsters. However that’s not what happened. I LOSE. There can be only one…and it’s not me. Slow did go on to lose the tournament so that’s good. I give props to: The storeowner for running a better-organized tournament The judges for knowing what they were doing and keeping everyone in order All the kids for playing amazingly and learning the rules all the rules. The storeowner for the cheap 5-dollar entrance fee, and an awesome prizes ( Which I received non of L ) Slow for not winning the whole tournament. Keith for getting his vengeance and taking this annoying ass kid out in the first round. Slops to: Myself for forgetting that trap hole and tossing the title away.
