name: the dark mage real name: michael owen deck: complete darkness(somewhat original name) place: all things anime and manga, phoenix, az prize: still no prize, dangit date: 11/16/02 numbor of people: 32, i think ADVENTURES OF THE DARK MAGE CHAPTER II in which the dark mage lives up to his name the cards that i use: monsters: dark magician (still favorite card) red-eyes black dragon (don't ask) 3 summoned skull (in every deck, i guess) 3 witch's apprentice (key card) 2 witch of the black forest (to find witch's apprentice or summoned skull) 2 magician of faith (why not?) 3 ryu-kishin powered (filler) castle of dark illusions (for its defense) cyber jar (makeshift raigeki) 2 whiptail crow (1650 attack ain't bad) the bistro butcher (makeshift la jinn) 2 la jinn the mystical genie of the lamp (long name, huh?) 2 dark elf (2000 attack also ain't bad) wall of illusion (there goes your hard-earned blue-eyes) magic: 2 heavy storm (there go all your traps) change of heart (i'm sorry, that jinzo is mine now) 2 tribute to the doomed (now, not even face-down monsters are safe) monster reborn (my dark magician has returned, bwahahahaha...ahem) 2 mystic plasma zone (also key card) card destruction (devastating li'l bugger) pot of greed (belongs in every deck) raigeki (i likes this thing) dark hole (the void which devours all) swords of revealing light (my tauntin' card) traps: mirror force (still kills stuff) 3 trap hole (also belongs in every deck) waboku (you thought you could hurt me?) seven tools of the bandit (no you cannot use that imperial order) just desserts (nasty card, this) now for the tourney, and the duels which it contains: round 1: the dark mage vs. mario yes, this is the same mario from my last report. he seemed to have dropped exodia and went to more of a beatdown strategy. i still managed to beat him, although his walls of illusion really bugged me. the dark mage wins. round 2: the dark mage vs. emmanuel oy. this wouldn't be good. the dark mage is against a store legend. this is one of the duelists that has all the good cards of the game and (possibly) thinks they're invincible. the dark mage, being the unbelievably nice person that he is, goes and proves these people wrong. relying mostly on my heavy storms, i managed to overcome all his traps and take the victory of the duels and match. the dark mage wins again. round 3: the dark mage vs. richard? (not sure of the name, if you're reading this and i got your name wrong, email me and tell me.) no offense if said duelist is reading this, but i really don't see how you could've beaten another of the store legends. you could barely hold your own against the dark mage. i completely blew through this guy. the end. the winner=the dark mage round 4: the dark mage vs. some guy whose name i didn't get a very long and suspenseful match, that. we each traded blow until one of us was dead, basically. too bad the dark mage died more than his opponent did. oh well. the dark mage loses. props & slops props: to my opponents for still being such good sports to me for getting s.o.r.l. that day to my cards again to whomever won that tourney (the dark mage did not see) to dave (storeowner) for holding the tourney to my stepdad again for driving me there slops: to me for not winning, again to round 4's unknown duelist: how was i being sarcastic? to ultimate offering to magic jammer send all hate mail, death threats, ancient egyptian curses, etc. to novax@darkwing.org (no viruses, though, as i value my computer)
