I kept the name, even thouh I've sidedecked Last Will. I felt it wasn't needed anymore since I added more powerful monsters. I aslo increased the size to 45, because I've gotten into problems with decking myself. I would thin out my deck faster then I could defeat my opponent. I finally got 2 Heavy Storms, and another MST. All I would like now is a second Swords of RL. But the only one I've seen is in the hands of a kid who hardly plays or trades. So I probably won't be getting one soon. There was a bye almost every round (as usual). We drew numbers to see who would play who the first round. Then it was standard bracket. Single elimination. I appologize for the lack of detail in these duels. My memory is bad, and all the games seemed to be all alike. I'll take notes next week so I can give you details of my duels. Round 1: Me vs Cody Cody's deck looked like it had alot of good stuff in it. IT had alot of life gain, some direct damage, Maha Mailo, Barrel Dragon, and some other neat stuff. It didnt all really seem to it together though. He surprised me at first, and gained the advantage, but I recovered as I tried to figure out what his deck did. Eventually, I started clearing the field and attacking hard with my monsters. Winner: Me. Round 2: Me vs Tim Tim has an Exodia deck...kind of. It has Exodia, but he doesn't focus on getting it. He likes to stall using Labyrinth wall, while he gets Catapult Turtle into play and kills you that way, or he draws Exodia. Easiest way to beat him is to attack head on. So I did. I saved my monster removal for the monsters he would set after tributing. Winner: Me. Round 3: Me vs Jack Jack has a solid monster removal deck, with Share the Pain, last Will, kind of like mine, except his has Soul exchange, which can be annoying. Him and I dueled twice before the tourny, and he seemed to do well against me then, so I knew this was going to be a tough duel...or so I thought. Lady Luck abandoned Jack, as he didnt draw enough monsters to stop my onslaught. Better luck next time. Winner: Me. Round 4: Buy...how boring. Round 5: Me vs Michael (finals) You remember Michael. So you know what kind of duel this will be. Well, his deck changed a little. He used Delinquent Duo and Confiscation now, to disrupt my hand a little. His deck was a little more agressive. I felt bad though, because we both knew I was going to win. Winner: Me. I got Shift from the PSV and Giant Shell (rare) from a Tourny pack. I gave all my prizes (including hte rares) to Michael, because I didn't care about the prizes. I was here to play and have fun. And the only way I can play Michael is in a tournament..... Props: To everyone at Deep Blue Sea. To my mom for driving me to the tournament To Colby, for not drawing my number. To my opponents, for being good sports. Slops: To the rain (our store is cursed) To Colby, for losing to Michael in Round 3. My email is bddp2001@webtv.net Feel free to email me with comments, questions, etc. Watch for my new version coming soon to a Tourny not so near you. _________________________________________________________________ Unlimited Internet access -- and 2 months free!  Try MSN. http://resourcecenter.msn.com/access/plans/2monthsfree.asp
