This is my first tourney report but I hope for it to be followed by more

Not your average beatdown deck

43 card deck (23 monsters, 14 magics, 6traps)

1 swords of revealing light (no attacking for you)
2 mystical elf (good defense)
2 witch of the black forest (search for monsters)
1 mirror force (oh you're going attack with a blue eyes and a skull I
don't think so)
1 delinquent duo (lose two cards thank you very much)
2 summoned skulls (ownage and a jinzo killer)
1 cyber jar (dark hole and card destruction in one card)
2 dark elf (can be a nice offensive wall at times)
1 dark hole (everything go down the hole)
2 soul release (no more good cards for you)
2 la jinn the mystical genie of the lamp (nice attack strength)
2 tribute to the doomed (fissure for face down monsters)
2 trap hole (kills any monster with more than 1000 attack)
1 change of heart (I'll just take control of that monster you've got
there)
2 fissure (gets rid of a monster)
3 man eater bugs (a monster with an endless appetite)
2 seven colored fishes (yeah fishy!!!!!)
3 magician of faith (get back those good magics)
2 mask of darkness (same as above but with traps)
1 monster reborn (can I borrow your blue eyes)
1 heavy storm (no magic/traps for you)
3 waboku (no damage done to me ha ha)
2 sangan (search for monsters)
1 pot of greed (drawing is good)

Side deck 15 cards (6 monsters, 6 magics, 3 traps)
1 snatch steal (let me get that summoned skull of yours)
1 seven tools of the bandit (oh you use mirror force I don't think so)
1 horn of heaven (Jinzo counter)
1 card destruction (good for anti exodia)
1 soul release (just in case I go up against an exodia deck)
1 prohibition (no mirror force for you)
1 mask of darkness (get back traps)
3 princess of tsurugi (take 500 for each magic and trap you have on
the field)
2 malevolent nuzzler (makes a skull stronger than a blue eyes)
2 flash assailant (good attack not so good effect)
1 trap hole (destroys a monster with 1000 attack or more)

Round 1 32 participants Ahmed vs  AJ (squirrel deck)
Good game don't remember the details but I do remember he was
winning until I brought out my summoned skull and dark elf close
game but I won
1-0

2nd  duel
It was a close game first time I saw someone get to 11,000 LP he had
a face down nimble momonga out my dark elf hit it and of course he
did its effect bringing out 2 more and gaining him 1000 life points
what I was really hoping for was my two Tribute to the doomed so I
get rid of those without activating the effect but I didn't get them so I
attacked them bringing him 11,000 LP. Later I brought out a skull and
another dark elf and attacked with them for a few turns for the win

2nd round 16 participants  Ahmed vs Ronald (disruption deck I think)
Close game he got me down to around 4,500 he soul released some
of my good cards then I set a cyber jar that he hit from that I got a fish
and a sangan I attacked his monsters then next turn I brought out a
skull and attacked for 2 turns for the win
3-0
2nd duel
within the second turn I got out my swords of revealing light and used
delinquent duo getting his dark hole and he discarded horn of the
unicorn which went back to the top his deck two turns later I set a
magician of faith next turn I flipped my magician got back swords then
brought out a fish attacked his face down monster he used magical
hats getting a horn of the unicorn and something else I forgot what it
was I attacked what turned out to be the other magic card then horn
of the unicorn got destroyed went back to the top of his deck his turn
he flipped his wall of illusion gave it horn of the unicorn then on my
turn I used tribute to the doomed to kill the wall brought out a dark elf
attacked the face down monster with the fish then attacked directly
with dark elf for the win

3rd round 8 participants Ahmed vs Michael (relinquished deck)
I don't remember the details but I do remember that he was about to
deck out after me using my cyber which got me all my magician of
faiths then he used raigeki (ouch) and then attacked directly for the
win

2nd duel
again I don't remember the details that well I'm kinda hungry and my
memory doesn't work good when I'm hungry but I do remember that
he used sonic bird to bring out black illusion ritual and summoned
relinquished and sucked up my la jinn then attacked me direct on the
last turn before the game ended he attacked my face down monster
with a skull  which was a mask of darkness then attacked with
relinquished for the game
