How ya doin evry1.  The Shadow is back and is now playing Yu-Gi-Oh! instead of Pokemon now.  If you remember the Shadow's Killer Deck report from the pokemon website (http://www.pojo.com/KillerDecks/February2002/226/Evil%20Porygon%202%20Deck%20Matthew%20Sita%20-%20Virginia%20-%20Dark.htm), then your already familiar with me.  For those of u that don't know the Shadow, WASSAP.  Well, enough talking and let Shadow introduce to you...the Shadow's deck.

1 Yami (The Field of Choice to the Shadow)
1 Jirai Gumo (Just in case)

...And I thought my Porygon2 deck was weird...this is even weirder!  I don't even know what the main point is in this deck, but if it does have one, it would be that it stalls with the powers of the Wall of Illusions, Electric Lizard, SoRL, and Man-eater Bug, and kill with the TRD, SS, and BEWD.  Well, the rules were that it was single elimination best out of three duels.  Most of the good decks had cards like Mirror Force and Magic Jammer or some other really good rare card (rich punks) while others were just beginners (no offense).  Well, let me tell you what happened at the Tourney.

Round 1
Shadow vs. Daniel (I think)
This one was pretty easy.  All I had to do was to get my Tri-Horn or Summoned Skull to beat him while he had some weak Blackland Fire Dragons and Battle Oxes While my Jirai Gumo was being a real big pain in the rear end to me because I kept on guessing wrong.  In the end of the second round, I had only 700 life points left and I still won.  Child's play once you think about it.
1-0

During the rounds I was talking to the person who got the bye, Shawn.  We both soon became good friends and we called ourselves the Paradox brothers because we both like the Paradox brothers from the Yu-Gi-Oh! Anime (we still didn't decide who is Para and who is Dox).

Round 2
Shadow vs. Scott (I think)
This one was a little trickier, but we were also playing a rule which if you mess up once, you get a warning, twice, you lose the game you were on and three times means your disqualified.  Well, I beat him the first round barely because of my Jirai Gumo and he had a warning for forgetting to draw his card, and I won the second game by default because he played one too many trap cards which made him lose the game. Now that really stinks...wait a minute...I won by default...WOO-HOO!
2-0

During the rounds, I talked to Shawn some more and the person who was known for winning the most tournaments, Max, was eliminated by Blaine (omg).  Paul soon announced who playing against who. Here are the results:
Eric (a friend of mine) vs. Jeffery (the annoying dude)
Blain (a cool person for a father) vs. Kyle
Shawn vs. David
Brendan vs. some kid (sorry)
Shadow vs. bye
bye...YESS!!  I go to the next round automatically until Paul realized that there was a flaw.  One person was already eliminated. At first I was like please don't make me face either Eric, Jeffery, Kyle, or Shawn and he said that David, Shawn's opponent was already eliminated...uh crap not Shawn...not my new friend this is no fair, but a duel is a duel in my opinion so I sat down in front of Shawn to face him.

Round 3
Shadow vs. Shawn
NO!  Not Shawn!  Why Shawn?  Is the lord of the games cursing me?  I guess so.  Neways, this was probably one of the hardest duels I ever faced in this tournament.  The first round, he crushed me with Blue-Eyes and Battle Ox, while the second and third rounds, I kept on stunning his Summoned Skulls with Paralyzing Potion and charging up my Summoned Skulls with the Sword of Dark Destruction.  Sorry dude.
3-0

Well, it wasn't a complete loss for him he fought for 5th and he got all the way to 6th place (not bad Shawn).

Round 4
Shadow vs. Brendan
For a little guy, he is good at Duel Monsters.  He crushed me with the 7 Colored Fish each time (ouch BAD FISH)
3-1

Round 5
Shadow vs. Kyle
Well, since I lost, I compete for 3rd place against whoever lost between Jeffery and Kyle and Kyle lost (why lord WHY?!?!?!).  Well, believe it or not, I got crushed by a Man-eater Bug, Hane-Hane, and a Koriboh. HOW DID I LOSE TO A BUG, A THING WITH NO BODY AND A FURBALL?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
3-2

Well, I got a 1st Edition LOBEWD booster pack and I got Exodia the Forbidden One (pure luck) and the next day I traded it in for a couple of booster packs and got Garnecia Elefantis and Kasegin of Wind which I traded THOSE in for 2 more booster packs and got a holo Change of Heart (sweet) and a Horn of Heaven (double sweet).  Now for props n slops:

Props:
-to me for making a deck that went far in the tournament
-to Shawn for being a good sport when i beat him
-to me 4 opening up a 1st Edition Exodia piece (still pure luck)
-to me again for getting a holo Change of Heart and Horn of Heaven
-to the Time Wizard for being a good card
-to Popeye's for STILL being the best chicken in VA (Popeye's 4ever)
-to Tri-Horn 4 being Tri-Horn (Tri-Horn #1)

Slops:
-to the Swords of Deep-seated for backfiring me (preventing me from getting the cards I need)
-to the Magician of Faith (I lost bcause of it...evil magician)
-to Jeffery for STILL being annoying
-to me for getting too many Hoshinengens in Metal Raiders Boosters (wimpy card with wimpy effect)
