Subject: Dark Power and my name is dave in massachusetts

My deck is called dark power because most of the cards in it are dark and it is kind of a beatdown deck. My name is dave and i had a tournament in orleans, Massachusetts at a lodge. The tournament took place on July 24. There were about 12 players.

MY deck:

Well that's my deck and now that the tournament is over I know I could have made a few changes. O well, My first match was against a kid named mike.

Round 1-he played weak monsters and I kept on trap holing them and fissuring them so he was left defenseless. I used 2 la jinns and one neo to win the match.

Round 2- basically the same thin but i used summoned skull and 1 la jinn the whole match.

Dave vs. Brady

This guy i played was very good and he played strong offensive monsters.

Round 1- I lost this match because i didnt draw any good, powerful monsters. After he put down a summoned skull I couldn't keep anything on the field long enough to sacrafice it.

Round 2- out of my first 10 cards I only got one Ryu-kishin powered and by the time I got it he had Sanga and the Barrel Dragon out. Plus, I killed his barrel dragon and then I drew a monster reborn but he used despell on it. He beat me once again.

Dave vs. some little kid

He played very weak monsters and he only had the two starter sets. I made sure that he wasn't able to bring any of his power monsters out because I killed them to fast.

Round 1 and 2- I won both matches with my summoned skull and a la jinn, plus i knocked out alot of his monsters by using swords of revealing light and then using fissure to make sure none of his monsters were left on the field.

Dave vs. Rob

Rob was a very good player but he played alot of zombie cards and there power ups.

Round 1-

Rob wasn't able to stop the high offensive monsters that I was putting down so he had to go on the defense, which also was not good for him because his monsters had no defense. I beat him quickly.

Round 2-

I this round rob couldn't even get a monster out because of my summoned skull.

First round of the finals:

Out of the twelve, I finished 4th so I had to play the top seated player who had been winning all night because of a combo. The combo was the Cannon soldier and Last will, since last will says that you can search your deck for a monster of 1500 atk or below and cannon soldier keeps discarding those monsters it was a continous attack so I was toast, plus Last will says discard it at the end of your turn so that was even worse.

Round 1-

I lost because of his combo. I playe maybe 5 turns when he used it.

Round 2-

I was able to get out to get out my summoned skull and 2 la jinns and a man eater bug to kill him quick so he wasn't able to get anything else out.

Round 3-

I lost because of the combo again and thats it.

Well, I got third because the other kid that lost had had to leave. Third was only 1 pack but I got a few cards that could help me a little.

Some cards that I am taking out of my deck are Witch's apprentice because it just took up space and aqua madoMy name is dave and my email address is darkpower909@yahoo.com
