The strategy of my deck is to remove the opponent’s monster and then bring out mine and heavily damage them. Also to take control of their own monsters and use them against them to help me in destroying them. This tournament was single elimination. The winner got 5 different type of rares,2 PSV packs, and 2 Season 2 Tournament Packs. 2nd got 1 Season 2 Tournament Pack and 3rd got jack diddly squat.

Round #1

Azn2002 v.s. some guy (sorry forgot the name) Wasn’t sure what kind of deck

Duel: I don’t remember much. All I know is that I was able to get out my man-eaters out quickly and keep using them because he had spear cretin. So due to that I was able to destroy a lot of his monsters and bring out my summoned skull and blue eyes. After I was able to bring that out I did 5500 damage in one turn and the following turn I beat him.

Overall: He played well but I was just able to get my monsters out and beat him down.

Winner: Me 1-0

Round #2

Azn2002 v.s. some little kid (again sorry about the name) Probably a beatdown?

Duel: Pretty much the same. I got my monsters out and I beat him easily. He even called me “evil” even that he was playing around. It was funny.

Overall: He was ok, but I just dominated on him from the start and he had no chance.

Winner: Me 2-0

Round #3

Azn2002 v.s. some guy (I suck with names sorry) Water Deck

Duel: Even that it seems repetitive it pretty much ended up the same. I got my monsters out and killed him. On my first turn I was able to do 4300 damage to him. He was able to steal my summon skull from me and place a malevolent nuzzler but with a waboku it prevented him from attacking my life points. Then I was able to steal it back and put another malevolent on it and then monster reborn his fire kraken and ended up killing him.

Overall: He was a good player but I just ended up getting my good monsters early.

Winner: Me 3-0

Round #4

Azn2002 v.s. some Asian kid (I just suck with names) Beatdown

Duel: This kid was pretty good from what I saw before the tournament but when I played it was all good. After a little hit for hit I was able to get out my little 7 color fishy and attach to malevolent nuzzler’s it was all over, I just kept killing his face down monsters and then ended up just doing direct damage and killed him in a few turns.

Overall: This kid was pretty good, he had some good cards like harpie’s brother and darkfire soldier but I just dominated on them with my fishy and 2 malevolent nuzzlers.

Winner: Me 4-0

Round #5 (Semi-Finals)

Azn2002 v.s. Latent Yu (Ended up being champion) Don’t know what kind of deck

Duel: I don’t even want to talk about this one. This duel took forever, he just kept using solemn wishes and gaining his life back.( I hate that card) So basically after trying to figure out a strategy I could not and I ended up decking out. But at least I went all out and played to the last card literally.

Overall: He just dominated on me the minute he got solemn wishes out.

Winner: Him 4-1

Tournament Overall: Even though I lost to the eventual champion I still got 3rd place. But it sucked because the guy who came in second must have got lucky because I know I would have dominated on him. The final match went so fast, I don’t see how that kid made it that far. Well even though I am happy with 3rd it still sucked because all I got was a season 2 tournament pack and I got crap in that too.

Props:

-To me getting to the semi-finals on my second tournament

-For getting cheap cards when they were selling them half off 30 min. before the tournament

-For Kirkland Sports cards for holding the tournament so I could whoop some butt

-For being able to face good competition

Slops:

-Solemn Wishes (I HATE THAT STUPID CARD)

-For getting 3rd when I should of got 2nd

-For loosing and not getting 1st
