Complex Dragon Deck (CDD) Created by: KC Wilson (Wilson511@juno.com) / Dover Comics / 12-7-02/ Houston, Texas Monster Cards 28 Ratio (M : M/T) 1: Magic Cards 19 Not a Speed Deck Trap Cards 7 Works best when the player is aggressive Ritual Cards 0 Weak on Trap Cards / Heavy on Magic Cards Fusion Cards 0 Total Cards 56 I call this a Complex Dragon Deck not because it is hard to play, but because it can be used in many different types of strategies. This deck can also be utilized against many different types of opposing decks. Many deck use 2 or 3 of one card, because of this they many only have 15 to 20 different cards in their deck. Tourney Report About 30 duelists were involved in this tournament. The duelists were divided into 2 groups, the winner of each group played in the championship. Round 1 (KCW vs. some kid) This kid was young, under 12, but know how to duel. I won the first game, and he won the second. The final game was a bloody battle of attrition. I won by only 50 LP. Round 2 (KCW vs. James L.) James was O.K., but not great. I swept him 2 games to 0. Both games I manager to get my BEWD on the field quickly. James attempted a defense, but was unsuccessful. Round 3 (KCW vs. A.J. Dawson) AJ was one of the best duelists at this tournament, and was expect to win it. Need less to say I was a little nervous. He was playing a F/S Deck. Much to my surprise I won the first game, and only lost 1000 LP. I managed to get off to a very aggressive start, and just rolled him up. The next game did not go so well. AJ manager to get 2 Summoned Skulls onto the field, and after that it was all over. The final game was a long one. I won with only 5 cards left in my deck. I finally finished him off with my Type Zero Magic Crusher. This match was the high light of the tournament for me. Round 4 Group Final (KCW vs. Jerry Stovall) This match did not go well for me. Jerry was an excellent duelist, and just bowled me over 2 games to 0. I manager to inflict only 1000 life points damage in both games. Tournament Review This tournament was fun. I received 4th place overall, plus I knocked off one of the top duelists. E-Mail: Wilson511@juno.com
