Burning Toons Deck v.2

Place: Shotuken Anime Comics

Name: Parker

Town: Bedford, TX

Date: December 7, 2002

Ok, I made the mistake of changing my deck around for the tournament. It was really good last week as you remember, but this week, I just lost my touch. Oh well, here’s my deck (it will be changing next week.)

Monsters (19):

X1 Giant soldier of stone

X1 Princess of Tsurugi

X1 Cyber jar

X1 Toon SS

X1 Aqua Madoor

X1 Magician of Faith

X1 WotBF (why oh why did they restrict it? *sobbing)

X1 Mask of Darkness

X1 SS

X2 Giant Germ

X1 LaJinn

X2 Harpies Brother

X1 Wall of Illusion

X1 MeB

X1 Cannon Soldier

X1 Toon Mermaid

Magic/Trap (24):

X1 Monster Reborn, Snatch Steal, Soul Exchange, Toon World, CotH, Waboku, Fissure, Raigeki, Black Pendant, CoH, Trap Hole, Prohibition, De-Spell, Nobleman of Extermination, Dark Hole, Gravekeeper’s Servant (trade w/ a friend of mine before the tourney for it), MoP, TttD, The Forceful Sentry, Grave Robber (pulled it in a pack!!)

X2 Just Desserts, Ookazi, Malevolent Nuzzler

I didn’t get to exact my revenge upon Kevin from last week but that’s alright. I was surprised, b/c Wes from last week, beat me (barely, though; I could have played a card for the game, but I was afraid of his down card (which was a traphole) ergghh). This tourney did not roll in my favor, as I said, and I just was very fortunate to even get a prize. Anyways, here’s the matches.

Round one: Me vs. Girl on Steriods and W/ PMS to the extreme Jostie (or something like that)

Match one: I played a lot of lifepoint lowering cards and she got her Sanga out quickly. However, the highlight of the match is how I won w/ 2600 life points left. I played grave robber used her share the pain to get rid of her Sanga (she threw a kaniption fit and threatened to bite me O_O). I then played prohibition on Sanga, CoH’d her facedown trap master used it against her traphole, tributed for SS, played raigeki and pummeled her lifepoints.

Match two: Same as last round.

Slops to you for being a freaky scary violent duelist.

Points: 4

Round 2: Me vs. Daniel

Match one and two: if you remember from my last report, this kid was coming up with excuses for losing. This week he came up with a new one: “I didn’t lose because I was sick, and it affected how I played.” Now, with him being 6 years old, I gave him the benefit of the doubt, and played along. I’ll spare you, he didn’t touch my LP first match and got me down to 3000 or so, match two. I beat him.

Kudos to you for trying.

Points: 8

Round 3: Me vs. Older kid obsessed with dragons and had like every card, Delbert; yes Delbert.

Match one: I won with direct damage. Daniel was laughing at the guy, and made him mad. I said it was just luck, but he obliterated me with a passion in the next two games.

Match two and three: I now know what it feel like to be beaten mercilessly.  Sigh.

Props to Delbert for beating me.

Slops to Daniel for having such a big mouth.

Points: 10

Round 4: Me vs. Wes

Ok let me set this up for you. I have kinda been coaching him along in the last tourney and this one, giving encouragement and not saying anything that could come back to me later. This time he brought an amazing beatdown deck.

Match one: I beat him pretty bad. I was at 3600, when he lost his edge (still at 8000) I drew Raigeki, played it played monster reborn on his his SS CotH’d my Princess, and brought him down to 4900 and it went down hill from there.

Match two and three: Sry if this deprives you, but I don’t want to talk about these matches. He pulled all the right cards and I didn’t. He wins.

Props to Wes for improving, and beating me worse than anyone at the tourney that day.

Points: 12

Ok that put me in 4th. Prizes usually go to three, but I tied with Delbert, and the store owner’s reasoning was, if he beat me before, he’s do it again. I contested that I did beat him once so it wouldn’t be fair, I could beat him. Right as I was leaving, he said hang on, you were right and gave me a MRL pack. I also bought a MRL and PSV pack, pulled and rush recklessly, magical hats, and more crap. However, later that night, I traded my friend ashton’s little bro my magical hats for his ceasefire (YES!!!!). So that’s it for this week. No more reports for me the rest of the year sry. But be looking for me next year. Have a great Christmas, Kwanza, Hanukkah whatever you celebrate and have a Happy New Year!

Props:

to my friend ashton’s mom for taking us

to my bro and my other friend Kev S. for trying it out

to Wes for giving me a challenge

to the store owner Jeff for being a great guy and giving me a pack

to Kev S. for trading me the gravekeeper’s servant

to Delbert for beating me

and to pojo for being the greatest yugioh site out there!

Slops:

To freaky Jostie girl for threatening to bite me, insulting my bro, and questioning my dueling skills

To Daniel for being a blabber mouth

And to Wes for taking away my chances for victory (wait till next week if you’re reading this)

I liked all the positive responses I got from you guys last time. Keep them coming. I am open to criticism as long as it is clean and constructive. Email me at Mongoose3288@aol.com.
