Hello, hello. It's me again. I didn't type up a report for the past few weeks because either A) I didn’t attend or B) I failed miserably. I never made it past the third round since my last report. THREE tourneys in a row I was paired up against some guy with a Relinquished deck that I only managed to beat once. Anywho..
I’ve made some changes to my deck to accompany the harsh world of Pharoah’s Servant (which is legal this week) and I apparently didn’t do a very good job... My deck is not more of a Monster Control/Hand Disruption deck with Beatdown roots. I have 3 Trap Holes, 2 Fissures, 2 Tribute to the Doomed. I also stuck in a Robbin’ Goblin, Delinquent Duo, and Confiscation (in my side-deck most of the game)

THE TOURNAMENT
Round One
I got a bye, so I watched my friend Raif play his game.
Match One
Raif: 8000
Opponent: 8000/6200/3200/0
I’m so proud of Raif; I taught him how to play the game, after all. Anyway, he opened with a Fissure to his opponent’s Killer Needle, then 7-Colored attack. He laid a Trap Hole and a Flute of Summoning Dragon. His opponent played a monster face-down and ended. Raif Soul Exchanged his opponent’s face-down monster (Steel Scorpion) and tributed his 7-Colored with it for Blue-Eyes. He drew Change of Heart, BTW. Next turn his opponent played a Magic/Trap and a Monster Face-down. Raif drew a Raigeki. Raif Raigekied his oppoenent’s Wall of Illusion, then played a Dark Elf in defense. He attacked with Blue-Eyes and ended. His opponent layed another monster in defense and ended (this ended up being his first tournament ever; go figure) So Raif Reborned his opponent’s Killer Needle, sacked it along with Dark Elf for Barrel Dragon. Barrel Dragon’s effect wiped away the defense, Attack! Game.

Anyway, to cut a long story short, I played this guy named Troy next, and he put a MSJOR hurt on me. He ran a beatdown as well, the only difference being that he (like EVERYONE ELSE BUT ME) had the money to get the staples (Raigeki, Swords, etc.) so I lost. But I got Mystical Sheep #2 in my Tournament 2 booster, which I traded to Ricky for my third Tribute to the Doomed! ^^
