So all were allowed in this. Japanese Cards were allowed in this, but I used none. Double Elimination during first duels. After First Duels Single Elmination. Me vs Daniel Now this duel was quite simple, not to brag or anything. But this kid had no base strategy, just a whole bunch of monster's face-down in Defense, which my deck is a specialty against. I went first a placed a Gearfried the Iron Knight out, along with a Shadow of Eyes, and Mystical Space Typhoon. So he went, and placed a monster Face Down, I used my Shadow of Eyes and it was a Mask of Darkness! I went and Tributed for a Summon Skull, smacked the Mask of Darkness ( which was now in Attack Mode ) and he took 1600. I played a Nobleman of Crossout down, and a Minor Goblin Official. He went, and played yet another Face Down Monster, and attempted a Raigeki, which was Space Typhooned. I went a used Nobleman of Crossout hitting a Man-Eater Bug which was removed along with all others from a deck. I played yet another Gearfried the Iron Knight and smacked him for 4300 ( 5900 total now ) and Activated Minor Goblin Official. His turn he played two Magic and Traps, after taking 500 during his Standby Phase of Minor Goblin. My turn came, and I hit him with a Summon Skull ending the duel. ( 8000 / -800 ) Winner : Me Duel 2 went pretty much the same, except that time he connected with one La Jinn. I prohibited Blue Eyes White Dragon which obvious since he had a Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon in the fusion deck. He became very angry and threw a fit. I connected, oh so many times with Gearfried and won. ( 6200 /-1000 ) I Advance to the next bracket. Me vs Brandon A little more challenging then the first. But quicker. I tossed him in two turns, I got a Crossout in my first turn along with 2 La Jinn's and a Kazejin. He went first, played a La Jinn. I then went and Change of Hearted his La Jinn, played mine and then attacked. Then Tribute to the Doomed his, during my turn with Kazejin going to the graveard. ( 4400 / 8000 ). This is where he messed up, Change of Hearted my La Jinn and offered for Summon Skull! Now he though he was doing a smart move and attacked my Kazejin.. well the effect went off, he lost the Skull and 2400 Life Points. ( 2000 / 8000 ).. then he forfeited. ( 2000 / 8000 ) Forfeit! Winner : Me Duel 2 almost the same, he pulled out some Moth thing making me discard top 5 Cards, lost a lot from that, I bonked it with a Battle Ox with Axe of Despair, layed down A Mystical Space Typhoon. He tried to Fissure, I countered with MST, he then used Delinquint Duo, got rid of my Sanga of Thunder and Suijin.. Bad move! Next turn, I used Call of the Haunted returned Sanga of Thunder, and then Premature Burial to return Suijin. And thats when he forfeited again. ( I forget / I forget ) Forfeit! Me vs Jeff What a weird guy! This wasn't even a duel! He did well, he had a good Dragon Deck coming to the semi-finals but it didn't surpass me. We had a draw for several turns, 'till it came down to Lord of D. Blue Eyes White, and Red Eyes Black against my Sanga of Thunder, and Pumped up Ryu-Kisin Powered with Axe of Despair. He attacked Suijin with Blue Eyes, once again a mistake.. 2500 and a lost Blue Eyes. Next turn I blew off his Gravekeeper's Servant with MST. Slaughtered the Lord with Ryu Kishin and the Red Eyes with Suijin. Switched Giant Soldier of Stone to Attack and I think that finished the duel. I love my Guardian pieces! Once again the duel continued like last time, pulled out a full Offense of Summoned Skull, and Ryu Kishin Powereds. A Raigeki and attacked finishing that one. Me vs Matt ( Finals ) Right now I was guaranteed Second Place. But Matt and I were the most well know duelist at Books-A-Million. This duel went on for about an hour with a huge crowd surrounding us. His deck had changed a lot since our duel for first last week, he massed out his Harpie's Brothers, but kept running into Face Down Giant Soldier of Stones. He finally broke through when all three had Malovenlant Nuzzlers. I Tribute to the Doomed one, with Kazejin and then Premature Burialed on Kazejin with enveloped the Brothers when he had an Axe of Despair equipped. After that my Gearfrieds Returned which one ran into a Labyrinth Wall. Then both were offered for Sanga of Thunder, which Kazejin wrecked the wall. And Sanga of Thunder ended the duel. Duel 2 was a very serious duel. A crowd "ooing, and ohing". My Ryu-Kishins wrecked him early, for the mistake of him laying Mystic Plasma Zone in the beginning. He pulled Raigeki slaughtering my force of power. And he slowly de-terriated me with Harpies. He Man-Eater Bugged my defense. And then after I beat down his Harpie's Brother with a Soul Exchange and then Summon Skull. He offered one Monster ( MEB ) for a Face-Down Def monster. Bad move! Shadow of Eyes! A Labyrinth Wall in ATK Mode! Summon Skull Attacked, and then La Jinn for the win. That was it, me in First. Matt in second. Jeff in third. And some Colton kid in fourth. I recieved, another Gearfried, Magic Jammer, and a whole bunch of stuff! And, thats basically the tournament. Thanks for reading! Name's Luc, and I can be E-Mailed at FlawedOneX@aol.com
