Surprisingly, though, it didn't take very long, since we only play one Duel per opponent. 1st Round Me vs. Mark Mark is a friend, so we've Dueled a lot. He had a pretty good Deck going, but he recently changed his theme to support Earth-Types, which kinda brought it down a bit. Anyway, this battle was pretty one-sided. I managed to clear the field and attack with offensive monsters like La Jinn and Summoned Skull. He did manage to get out a small defense with Goblin Attack Force and Witch of the Black Forest, but I used Snatch Steal on his Witch, got rid of his Goblins, and let my Summoned Skull finish the rest. 2nd Round Me vs. Andrew This guy has enough money to buy fifteen packs a week without thinking twice. You name pretty much any rare card, and he's pulled it. He went first and tried to mount a heavy defense with his Magics and Traps, but I pulled Heavy Storm and used Tribute to the Doomed to clear the field. After I did some damage to him, he tried using his flip monsters, but I used Ceasefire to render them useless and get in some Direct Damage. After clearing the field with Raigeki, I used The Shallow Grave to get my Magician of Faith, flipped it to return Raigeki, and tributed for Jinzo. Once I reborned my Summoned Skull and used Raigeki to clear the field again, I finished him without having to worry about his Traps. 3rd Round Me vs. Sal A lot of people underestimate Sal, but he can Duel with the best of 'em. I almost lost to this guy, and I still can't believe I came back! I started out using The Forceful Sentry to make him shuffle in his Raigeki. I had him on the ropes with my Mirror Force and Swords of Revealing Light, but he pulled Heavy Storm and used Change of Heart on my La Jinn to get out his Summoned Skull on the open field to attack me 2500 direct. However, once I trusted in the Heart of the Cards (heh heh heh) I pulled a Flip Monster and set it. After praying he didn't have more Magics to destroy my monster, he attacked my face-down monster and suffered the consequences of Cyber Jar's effect! He pulled mostly monsters to mount a huge defense, but I used Raigeki and brought out my Jinzo. After I used Limiter Removal to do some major damage, it was all over. Final Round Me vs. Enrique Enrique is pretty cool, but his Deck is all over the place. He used Messenger of Peace to protect himself, so I just kept attacking with monsters like Magician of Faith and Cannon Soldier. Once I waited long enough to pull Heavy Storm, I got out my Summoned Skull, used Limiter Removal on my Cannon Soldier, and ended it. I thought the last match would be as exciting as my third, but actually it was just a waiting game. After winning first place for the second time in a row (holds for applause) I won two packs. The first one had a Fairy Meteor Crush, which I gave to one of my best friends, since I knew he'd wanted one. The second pack had a Parasite Paracide, which I traded to get Kuriboh. After replacing my Morphing Jar #2 with my new Kuriboh (since Morphing Jar #2 usually does me more harm than good) I tried to trade my Gate Guardian for a Call of the Haunted, but no sale. Oh, well........ maybe next week........ Hey, if anyone has any questions or suggestions, feel free to E-Mail me at mfillman125@msn.com anytime!
