On several occasions I held back from using such heavy hitters as raigeki and monster reborn just to give him a chance. 2nd duel -Same thing, but i grew tiresome of this game and used my monster reborn and set magician of faith to deliever 2 summoned skull worth of damage. WOOT! 2nd Match Me-Versus Allan Preamble- this guy is very good, he runs a stall/direct damage deck that would make want to scream. For this reason I put in my trap masters and de-spells to take care of some of those annoying cards. but i digress. 1st Duel Allans deck is based heavily on the survival of his various stall card such as toll, gravity bind and messsenger of peace, so i fluked off by drawing 2 heavy storms. He put down 3 magic/trap cards and a face down monster. I heavy stormed his field dark holed his monster and attacked with a harpies bro. He did manage to keep his gravity binds out but with no monsters my giant soldier of stones were free to attack, and that finished him. 2nd Duel My deck dealt me the royal screw job on this one. Not a single heavy storm throughout the whole duel, the only card that can save me so i unfortunatly fell for the first and only time. His gravity bind prevented me from attacking and my field filled up with monsters. He they played a just deserts against my 5 monsters (ouch) and used mask of darkness to bring it back again (double ouch) and that finished me off. 3rd Duel Fate once again rewarded me and I drew both heavy storms during the duel. This was much quicker than the other two and I manager to hit him with a summoned skull twice early in the game. additional chip damage was enough to take down the mighty allan. 3rd Match Bye- YAY!!!! 4th match Me-Versus little jimmy 1st duel Pure beatdown allowed me to overcome this duel, I kept him from playing magic with my drains and jammers and opened up with my summoned skulls, pretty simple. 2nd Duel Death by decking against a non-decking deck, the ultimate humiliation. Unbelievably i managed to deck him. My deck is not in the least a decking deck and I almost got decked myself. The main reason it went so long was because of my solemn wishes and their constant reinforcment of my life points. 5th Match (finals) Me- Versus Some Old Guy 1st Duel Now that is a strange deck if i ever saw one, running 3 mystic tomatos and other various kiddy card. But in the finals he managed to get to and I knew I had to not take the challange lightly. He opened by playing a face down mystic tomato and I killed it with a 7 colored. For the next 3 turns he brought out dark monster after dark monster until I manager to breich his denfense and attack his life points. He managed to dark hole my field but no matter, I dark holed his field and reborned a summoned skull for the finisher. 2nd duel (last) This duel came down to a lucky, early draw. I started of strong, my jammers stopped serveral magical attacks and my field remain full of monsters ready to attack. He had two monsters down and a mystic tomato up in defense and I had a 2 wall of illusions and a 7 colored fish and a giant soldier of stone ready to be played. I drew a raigeki, cleared his field and obliterated his life points. All in all a very easy tourny, with only one loss. In my pack I got a ufo turtle (god i hate magic ruler) and nothing in my tp2. But i did like the calendar that i got so it wasn't all that bad. btw, this was my third first place victory in 5 weeks. = ) From: shaunhaugan@hotmail.com (btw my name is Shaun Haugan, Duh)
