Rookie's sports card, Richmond Vancouver 12/20/02
This is my first tourney, there's lots of people in this
tournament. The entry fee was $10 and the winner get 3 packs of any choice.I use
mainly psv cards cause the cards are really effective.
Monsters Lvl4 and above:

My deck isn't really that effective, but most of my cards are
shiny cards(eg-monster reborn,change of heart,dark hole). This tournament has 8
people.
Round 1
Jay vs. John
He didn't draw many good cards out so he keep on putting
monster in defence.It's over for him a in a few rounds when i draw out both of
my 7 colour fish, both equip with nuzzler.
Round 2
Jay vs. Stefan
On the first turn i got out pot of greed, dark hole, la jinn,
7 colour fish, and raigeki. I let him go first and he put a monster in defence
mode and lay 3 card down.So i draw out a stop defence and use pot of greed, and
draw out twin head fire dragon and horn of unicorn. I put la jinn in attack mode
equip with unicorn and stop defence his monster.It was a mystical elf and i atk
it. He lay another monster in defend mode.I draw out 7 tools of the bandit and
lay it face down. I put 7 colour fish in atk mode and atk him directly.Next turn
he didn't put up any monster so i draw out harpie's brother to finish
him.
Round 3
Me vs. a kid
I played him before in the store and he is really good and
powerful cards.Anyway i went first and place a mystical elf in defence and lay 7
tools down. He also lay a card in defence. I change of heart his monster and
tribute both for a blue eye equip with nuzzler and atk his lp directly, he
countered with a trap hole and i counter it with my 7 tools.After a few turn we
keep on countering each other's card and I finally finish him off by raigeki his
monsters and kill his lp. It was a pretty close match and i just got lucky.
So there you have it, I am this week's champion, Ya! I didn't
really get any good cards in the first 2 metal raider packs, but in the third
pack i got a shiny summon skull!
