We had a normal 30+ person tournament this week. The competition was so rough I got nauseated. Luckily, I had been running a winning streak so I had little to worry about.

Round 1: 30 Participants left

Me vs. Jacob

I was dead. I dueled Jacob before with my Exodia deck. I just barely pulled by when I pulled off the most impossible move. I won though and ever since then, every time I see him, I say "Hey, you the kid I beat with Exodia". And he would get all pissed off and tell me to shut-up. I just laughed and blew it off.

Duel 1: I had a hard time with this one. My opening hand was PoT, DS#1, Trap Hole, Reborn and an Axe. I was first and pulled a Tremendous Fire which I played. Him: 7000, Me: 7500. Then I set the Princess and Trap Hole. He heavy stormed the field and set two traps. Then he played La Jinn and attacked. Him: 6000, Me: 7500. My turn. I pulled and THFD. I played reborn on the princess and tributed it to play the dragon with the axe on it and attacked. He flipped Mirror Force. After that, everything went downhill. I couldn’t regain control. I played Raigeki but he flipped IMPERIAL ORDER. ****! He beat me by a landslide.

Duel 2: I had total control this time. He couldn’t pull anything so I had this one in the bag. He tried using Mirror Force but I Seven Tooled it.

Duel 3: This one was WAY too close. If I hadn’t pulled Raigeki when I did, I would have lost. I ended up playing Cyber Jar from my hand in ATK mode to finish him. I beat him with 25 life points left.

Round 3: 15 Participants left

Me vs. Jordan

I was going to landslide this round. I dueled Jordan 5 times before and 4 out of 5 I beat him. He was a lot tougher this time. He got almost nothing but Ultra Rares in his deck. I beat him in 3 duels.

Round 4: 8 Participants left

Me vs. Aaron

This was going to be the nastiest match I’ve had. Aaron was the most frickin hard duelist I’ve faced besides his dad, Gary.

Duel 1: I started strong with SS, DS#1,2 and THFD. I killed him in a handful of turns.

Duel 2: I had a really hard time holding onto my life points with this one. He used the strangest combo. He had a Summoned Skull out with a Prohibition on Snatch Steal. I was able to hold on with SORL. It ended and I used raigeki and reborn on him. Me: 550, Him: 500. His turn. He played Mystical Space Typhoon, which confused me because I had nothing in my M/T zone. When he reached for Prohibition, I could see what was coming from a mile away. He played Snatch Steal and finished me.

Duel 3: I almost had control. But he held on long enough. We had equal life points up to the end. I realized I should treat Monster Reborn a little better cause that pulled my butt out of my own fire. Of course his Raigeki pushed me right back in.

So I got 5th Place and a PSV pack and a Season 2 pack. I got Dragon Seeker in my tourney pack and bullcrap in my PSV pack.

Props:

-Getting 5th

-Getting Dragon Seeker

-Beating Jacob...again

-Not activating Imperial Order when Aaron played Raigeki

Slops:

-Getting 5th

-Not beating Aaron

-Getting crap in my PSV pack.

-That little B@$T@RD who got Morphing Jar.
