Well our first battle was pretty quick. I placed a Seven Colored Fish and a fissure (face down). He put out a Battle Ox in attack mode. The next few turns were just both of us building our forces. By my sixth turn I had two, seven colored fish, one summond skull and a La Jinn. I decided its best to end it quick, so I attacked with everything I had. The next turn he placed a Dream Clown in attack mode. I drew a Blue Eyes, sacraficed both Seven Colored fish, then attack with everything again to when the first match. Our next match was over in a few minutes. I drew a great hand. 3 La Jinn, Pot of Greed and Kuriboh. He placed a Giga-Tech Wolf in attack mode. I put out a La Jinn and blew his wolf away. He placed a Saggi in attack mode. I drew and played a Summond Skull. I attacked and destroyed his Saggi. THe next couple turns were dull. He played no monsters so I kept attacking for 2500 direct damage to his life points to win the match and the dual. Round 2 Steven -vs- Patrick This match was over before it started when he got eliminated for having two Monster Reborns in his deck. Someone ratted him out and the manager of the store kicked him out of the tournament Round 3 Steven -vs- Derrick This pretty much went the way my first round match did. I beat him down with La Jinn, Seven Colored fish, and Blue Eyes. I had Robbin' Goblin out and used both Tribute to the doomed to win quickly. Our second Match was a bit harder. I had to relly soully on my traps and Magic. He was beating me down with Suijin and Blue Eyes. Finally I drew Mirror Force. All I had on the feild was Seven Colored fish and a Witch of the Black Forest. I turned over a Fissure, to rid Suijin. He attacked with Blue Eyes, I played Mirror Force, destroying his Blue Eyes. I played La Jinn and attacked with everything for the next two turns winning the match and the dual. After wards I shook Derricks hand because he gave me a run for my money like no one before had ever done. Not only did I win, but I made a new friend as well. 8o) Round 4 Steven -vs- Miguel Our first Match went extremely quickly. In five turns it was over. He hadn't played any monsters because he wasn't drawing them. I had La Jinn, Seven Colored Fish, Summond Skull, and a Neo out. Our second Match went horribly wrong for me. I drew on my starting hand, Man Eater Bug, two Reinforcments, Kuriboh, one fissure. I played Man-Eater Bug in defense mode and thats it. He played a Dragon Zombie and destroyed Man-Eater. I drew and played a Magician of Faith. He played a Card Destruction. After that I was overwhelmed by his Pumpking and Armored Zombie. With 1000 life points left, I finally drew Raigeki. I destroyed his monsters, and I then played La Jinn. I attacked with my Neo's and La Jinn. To everyones amazment, I made a huge comback. I brought him down to 250 life points. I attacked, but Miguel played Mirror Force and destroyed my Monsters. He attacked with his own Man-Eater to bring me to the point of loss. With the match on the line, I drew a La Jinn, attacked with it and won. Everyone couldn't bealive how fortunate I was towards the end. Round 5 Tourny Finals Steven -vs- John Our first match went back and forth. We were evenly matched with La Jinns and Seven Colored fish. He drew a Barrel Dragon and played it, sacrafising his two La Jinns. he used its effect to destroy one of my Seven colored fish and then attacked to destroy a La Jinn. I drew and played Summond Skull, but again he used Barrel Dragons effect, destroyed Summond skull and attacked. My life points were down to exactly 200. I drew and played a Man-Eater Bug. He drew and played another Barrel Dragon. He attacked and destroyed Man Eater bug, also winning our first match. Our second was extremely fast, I played a Witch of the Black Forest. he then played La Jinn but didn't attack. The next few turns we each spent building up our monster feild. I drew and played a Change of Heart, to turn his La Jinn against a Battle Ox. He then immidiatly played a Barrel Dragon and blew my Neo away. He brought out two more Barrel Dragons and went through my forces like a knife through warm butter. He won the match and the dual. I came in second and got 10 dollars store credit which I used on two first edition booster packs. The only good cards I got were a Suijin, and a Robbin' Goblin. For my first tourny I got second place which wasn't bad.
