well at first, we only had 11 show up, so i didnt participate, but someone 
came at the last minute and we started the duels.  it went with 2 people 
facing each toher.  the winner sof those matched faced another oponent 
randomly chosen.  untill there was 2 left.  then we had the champion ship. 
the champion ship was the only match with best 2 out of 3.  the winner got a 
horn of heaven.

MATCH 1: I started out facing a newb.  he played with a starter deck yugi.  
it started with him going first he played a rv mon.  i played lajinn in atk 
mode and killed it.  he then pretty much lost it.  he played another rv 
defence monster.  i then used tribute to the doomed, and played 7-Colered 
Fish.  the next turn he played no monster cards and i won by playing masked 
sorcer in atk mode, eliminating him from the tournament.

MATCH 2: this time i faced one of my freinds i a duel. he was sort of new, 
but had a good deck.  we started with him going first.  he play mystic clown 
is atk mode and 1 mts.  i then played 1 rv defence monster. on his turn he 
play his mystic clown as a tribute for flame cerebrus.  he atk and it was 
hane-hane.  i returned it to his hand.  on my turn i used de-spell on his 
card, destroying his monster reborn.  i played 1 mts and then used pot of 
greed. i got lucky and drew a lajinn.  i then played it with dark energy and 
atked.  he then put a mts and 1 rv mon.  i then used my monster as a tribute 
for millenium sheild.  i played1 mts and ended my turn.  he then switched his 
monster to atk and ended his turn.  i then used fissure, played 7-colered 
fish with sword of deep-seated, used sheild and sword(BEFORE I PLAYED 
7-COLERED FISH) and atked.  the next turn i atked and won.  by playin white 
magic hat, and killing his mon with 7-colered fish.

MATCH 3: i dint play.  sinc we used coin toss to decide who ddnt play since 
there were three.  it ended with my freind roby beating my other freind 
micheal.  it was a  match with only 800lp diffrence.

CHAMPIONSHIP: I went first by playing 1 mts and lajinn in atk mode.  he 
played his lajinn but i flipped trap hole.  he then played 1 mts and ended 
his turn.  i then played Naga and used its effect to play sangan.  i then atk 
his lp with both monsters while playing 1 mts.  he then playedthe cheerful 
coffin, discarding 7 colered fish, battle ox, and shadow ghoul.  he then 
reborned shadow ghoul.  i flipped over my trap card horn of heaven and killed 
sangan, taking magician of faith out of my deck. into my hand.  he then ran 
out of monsters.  on my turn i played magician of faith face down. and used 
pot of greed. i then atked wit lajin, he used dark hole and ended his turn.  
i then used monster reborn on  shadow ghoul, and played 7-colered fish in 
atk, with sword of deep seated and atked -5300.  hes ten had 100 left.  he 
simply played 1 rv mon and i atked to win.

part 2: he went first and played neo n atk mode.  on my turn i play 1 mts and 
1 rv mon.  he then played 1 mts and atked my onster.  it was big eye.  i then 
set my top 5.  i drew card destruction and used it. i drew the cards i 
needed.  i played fissure and atked his lp with a 7-Colered fish.  he played 
1 monster in def and eneded his turn.  i then played my dragon princess in 
atk mode, and switched his monster to atk, it was giant soldier of stone, i 
thne killed it.  his turn, he play dark hole and astked my lp with winged 
dragon.  on my turn i used monster reborn on my 7-colered fish and used it as 
a tribute for summoned skull.  i then atked his monster.    on his turn he 
play 1 rv mon.  i drew my card and played dragon princess again, makin his 
mon go into face up atk, so i fliopped my trap hole.  i then atked his lp.  i 
kept on doin that combo until his lp were out.  he eventually used cxard 
destructrion while he was under 2000lp, but i then just played lajinn and 
kill his face down monster.  and atked with summoned skull to win.

we will be having another tournamewnt at the library in october.  till then, 
my second tournament is at the outpost station in vienna virginia.  i hope to 
find a more challenging duelist to face there, and maybe win some boosters 
too.
