Sorry for
lack of articles as of lately. Ive been working
alot lately, plus with school and stuff its very
crazy. I decided I'd take a few
 minutes
and discuss a card that see's tremendous amount
of play lately. This article is all about
Pulling the Rug, the effect is as follows:Pulling the Rug Counter Trap Negate the activation and effect of an effect monster who's effect is activated when normal summoned, and destroy that card. This is a very good card, and very good card indeed. The ability to shut down Monarchs, Gadgets, DemiseOTK searchers, etc is very good. With the mass amount of decks that are Tier 1 this format this deserves to be side-decked at least(in 3's). You could probably also main-deck these badboys too. For me, it seems every tournament I go to I side-deck them in every round, so I ultimately main-decked 2-3 of them into my deck. Have yet to test it, but will try for it when I get the chance. Probably one of the biggest drawbacks is that it only works for normal summons, not flip summons, nor special summons. That means this wont be stopping new chaos monsters, Cyber Dragons, Demise(itself) and others. But alot of people are playing Monarchs and that can warrant you playing it maindecked or side-decked. If you dont have any of these, I suggest you obtain 3 of them and try them out. Certainly a very good card and can save you from a beating. Till next time, keep safe and have fun ;>
