Cyberdark Version 2.0
June 5, 2007

I thought that I should inform my readers of some changes made to my Cyberdark Deck.  I really love this theme, am looking forward to getting a Crush Card Virus, and think that they have massive amounts of potential in the future.  I altered the one presented to you all a few weeks ago and took it to a local tournament finishing second place out of 20 or so players, losing in the finals my first time to a stupid Demise one turn wonder.  To boot I beat number two in the state of Ohio with it in the top 4, only to have him walk off in a cursing mumble.  This theme has a lot of weird mechanics and a lot of off the wall support.  Any theme that gives you access to an OTK, deck thinning, Jinzo, and every Virus card to date has multiple avenues to force a game into its favor.  The major difference between this version and the previous is the added amounts of monster removal.  As much as I try my best to push aggressive urges aside, I am an aggro player at heart.  Shrink was bothering me because most players are playing recruiters (in some form or another).  The card is useless against recruiters.  Smashing Ground ends such themes while clearing the field for huge amounts of damage.  Exploder Dragon aids in this mentality, while Deck Devastation Virus seals wins.  Take a look over the revision and don't be afraid to give it a try for yourself.
