Turmoil leads to corruption and through corruption we define ourselves. In the heat of battle decisions must be made. In the end whoever possess the best technology will win if they use it effectively. Gate Guardian is a monster we have all admired at some time. But in the truest sense he is old news. Better cards have taken his place. Today's article will try its best to resurrect the power of an old star with the dumbly goofy UFOroid.

A few weeks ago I demonstrated my Gate Guardian deck. Almost instantly I got 3 e-mails explaining how my deck was not a proper build for gate guardian. Since the monster is a warrior, he should be fused with UFOroid in an FTK deck. I was amazed, but this deck is not a Gate Guardian deck it is a UFOroid deck. Now lets take a look at a build sent to me by Andre D.

Monster(16)
3 Cyber Dragon
3 Gate Guardian
2 Proto-Cyber Dragon
3 UFOROID
2 Shining Angel
2 King of the Swamp
2 Arsenal Summoner
1 Sangan

Spell(22)

1x Premature Burial
1x Snatch Steal
1x Graceful Charity
1x Inferno Reckless Summon
1x Heavy Storm
3x Giant Trunade
2x Smashing Ground
1x Polymerization
3x Power Bond
1x Limter Removal
1x Big Bang Shot
1x Ante

Trap(4)
Call of the Hanted
Bottomless trap hole
Royal decree
Mirror Force

Fusion(9)

3x UFOroid Fighter
3x Cyber-Twin Dragon
3x Cyber-End Dragon

Now for the Drops

2x King of the Swamp
1x Inferno Reckless Summon
1x Big Bang Shot
1x Ante
1x Royal decree
1x Bottomless Trap Hole
1x Premature Burial
1x Call of the Haunted
2x Smashing Ground
1x Polymerization

King of the Swamp is being dropped because he has no purpose. He searches out one polymerization and is not fusible with any cards.

Inferno Reckless Summon is also useless simply because the deck lacks an adequate way to use it

Big Bang Shot is random. It works wonders with Anteatereatingant but here it is going to get in the way due to the fact the deck is running 3x trunade and Heavy Storm.

Ante, What does this card do????????????????????????????????????????????????

Royal Decree and bottomless trap hole are also wasted space because the deck is not defending, it is waiting for a strike

smashing ground is also not needed because the deck has huge monster fusions.

Both recursion cards cards are not needed because every monster in the deck, with the exception of cyber dragon, is not something worth bringing back. This is a card needed for attacking. We are waiting to strike one time.

The best thing about this deck is that it can be customized to fit your play style. You can manipulate it to work with lacooda and use more stall. Or you could combo it into a weird variant of Cyber Stein OTK.

This deck has a great potential for fallacy, but then again my hope is for my readers to try it out. Find what works for you and help me complete this deck. Like all decks of its kind this one does have bad openings, but it is my hope to either stall through those with battle searchers and kuriboh or through the use of my spells and traps. Once the time comes hit them with your fusions and laugh at their expense :P

Help me continue to develop this deck. I hope you can see its potential and give it a try.
