Ojama Rebuild
March 7, 2006

Hello everybody. I got a lot of mail concerning the Ojama deck, and somebody gave me a lovely idea. They said, why r u not running............

1)

Xing Zhen Hu
Trap Card
Continuous
Select 2 Set Spell or Trap Cards on the field and activate this card. As long as this card remains on the field, the selected Spell or Trap cards cannot be activated

2)

Spatial collapse
Trap Card
Continuous
You can only activate this card when both you and your opponent each have 5 or less cards on the field. As long as this card remains face-up on the field, the total number of cards that each player can have on the field is 5.

also, another deck was sent in, utilizing the rescue cat concept. It was a very well built deck, and at the moment I really can't think of anything wrong with it. You can't fix that which is not broken, so I will be showing off somebody else's deck..

But for the fix, I want to make it clear to you Xing Zhen Hu and Spatial collapse are the cards needed to make the deck work. Ground Collapse was the wrong approach because it did not protect your lock up from heavy storm and dark hole. But these cards do. See, we are playing in a format where everybody sets 2 sakuretsu armors, a widespread ruin, etc. That is were Xing Zhen Hu comes into play. A great tech card that now makes those cards useless. Then, try this for size you activate ojama trio and spatial collapse. Your opponent is in a perfect lock down because they can not summon, set, or play any other cards. (AND YES, SPATIAL COLLAPSE WORKS FOR TOKEN MONSTERS) Thus we have established a combo. And as in the past the best way to get to the combo is to draw a lot of cards. So I am utilizing another variant of the pot deck because it allows me to draw into my combo cards. This version is also going to be a tad more focused on ojama king, because now he is better protected. Thus we can use his fusion as a means to further lock down the field. Eventually giving us the ability to burn are opp. away to a game loss. Try it out, fix it, make it better. My hope is by using the draw engine bad hands will be minimized a tad. But let me know what you think.
