Respect Polymerization
2/23/06

Hello everybody for my second front page article:P

Today, around 1:00 am I was checking my e-mail and somebody by the name of Alex told me that he has been collecting his elemental hero monsters because he really wants to use them but just has not been able to get them to work.  I know, I know, elemental hero's are not all that unusual to play but the problem that persists upon using them is simply we are building a deck out of normal monsters in order to use polymerization.  So thus we have a deck which can not win in the top deck wars.  We have a deck that supports wasted resources, we have a deck which is as so many put it unusable.  My remark, no deck is and I intend to show you that the elemental hero's are more then "fan" cards.  The problem we see is simply that we must turn the elemental hero's into advantage while in the graveyard.  Also, we need to stop building such decks around cookie cutters.  If you think about the cookie cutter build, elemental hero's can not be properly supported because the average cookie cutter deck is down too 3 or 2 cards after about 4 moves.  So I ask, what be the logic that makes us assume elemental hero's can be used in such a manner?  Since they are "bad" non- advantageous monsters which provide no immediate gain.  So this is my mission and here is my deck entitled.......

THUS 14 (+) WAYS to draw extra cards and maintain some form of hand/field advantage.

This deck has not been tested, but this is what keeps coming to my mind whenever I think of elemental hero's.  "Respect Polymerization" has numerous ways to keep up with the pace of the current metagame and from decks which mimic it, I know just through comparison it will work.  I want all of you, especially Alex to try it out.  Feel free to relish in the delight of the E-Heros.  The only reason I am using the ones I am is because they are my favorite 3, but if you like others switch them out.

Enjoy, test, and learn.  I want all of you dedicated E-Hero fans to win with shinning flare wingman just like Jaden Yuki.  I want all of you to smile and enjoy this game, I for one am tired of being bored at regional tourny's because everybody should not play identical decks.  Each deck should be a means of demonstrating your favorite cards and the skill you use to manipulate them.  I hope that through my articles I can aid in the development of a more diverse game.  I want to go into a tourny and play people and not know one card in their deck.  I want this game to be always fun and never dull.

If anybody has any questions, concerns, comments, or want a deck fix etc. send me an e-mail.  Please test this deck out and let me know what you think.  Its mechanics are different then those you probably played but the more you work with it the better you'll master it.  Help me become better and hopefully I can give all of you more of a challenge.

-Anybody who knows me and is interested in joining or forming a competitive team let me know....

-Anybody have any crazy/underplayed deck ideas let me know.

-Anybody out there have some form of an armed dragon deck or a silent magician deck let me know.  These are two decks which I can not figure out.  All input and help is always appreciated.
