Card Creations:

Scorching Ocean
May 22, 2006

Good day, everyone.

Today I’m back with yet another Card Creations Article (I’m sorry for the long absence) This time, the package will be focused around Fire and Water Cards. Both of them are quite unsupported, in my opinion. Of course, Water Decks have got A Legendary Ocean and Levia Dragon Daedalus, but that’s about it. Tribe-Infecting Virus and Sinister Serpent were great Water Cards, but they could be used in almost every single deck, which made them broken.

Fire Cards share the same problem. They’ve got some powerful cards, like Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys and Raging Flame Sprite, but I feel that there can be done a lot more to make those deck themes more competitive.

So, that’s what I’m trying to do with this article. I’ve received a lot of e-mails again so let’s start with...Scorching Ocean

Here it is: Scorching Ocean. It contains, as promised, lots of Water and Fire support. Cards like Incinerate, Conflagrate, Flush and Great Flood make those kinds of decks playable again. There were also some strong monsters, like Liquid Warrior and Giant Blue Whale that could change the entire world of dueling, because they would give Water Decks much more power.

There are also several Burn Cards that support the current Fire Theme, but I also included multiple ‘swarm’ and ‘destruction’ cards to support those decks.

But, let’s start with the credits now.
