Last Solution:

1. Flip Summon Mask of Darkness.

a. Use its effect to add Call of the Haunted to your hand.

2. Activate The Shallow Grave. You select Makyura the Destructor and he selects Injection Fairy Lily.

3. Tribute Makyura the Destructor and Sangan to Tribute Summon Dark Magician of Chaos.

a. Use DmoC’s effect to add Axe of Despair to your hand.

b. Use Sangan’s effect to add Skull-Mark Ladybug to your hand.

4. Pay 500 Life Points to activate the effect of Ultimate Offering and Normal Summon Skull-Mark Ladybug (your LP now 2600)

5. Activate Axe of Despair, equipping Mask of Darkness.

6. Activate Axe of Despair, equipping Skull-Mark Ladybug.

7. Have DmoC attack D.D. Survivor, removing it from play and doing 2800 – 1800 = 1000 damage (his LP now 9600).

8. Have Mask of Darkness attack Skilled Dark Magician, destroying both.

a. Tribute DmoC, removing it from play, to activate the effect of Axe of Despair and place Axe of Despair on top of your Deck.

9. Have Skull-Mark Ladybug attack Injection Fairy Lily. Injection Fairy Lily is flipped face-up, but nothing else happens.

10. Activate Enemy Controller, using its first effect to turn Injection Fairy Lily to Attack Position.

11. Activate Call of the Haunted, Special Summoning Makyrua the Destructor.

12. Pay 1050 Life Points to activate Return from the Different Dimension, Special Summoning D.D. Survivor and DmoC (your LP now 1050).

a. Use DmoC’s effect to add Enemy Controller to your hand

13. Tribute Skull-Mark Ladybug to activate the second effect of Enemy Controller and take control of Injection Fairy Lily.

a. Gain 1000 Life Points due to the effect of Skull-Mark Ladybug (your LP now 2050).

14. Attack directly with all monsters you control, paying 2000 Life points to activate the effect of Injection Fairy Lily to do 1800 + 2800 + 1600 + 400 + 3000 = 9600 damage.

And the alternate answer this week is provided by Francis (maniac_flip),

- Summon Dark Magician of Chaos and add Giant Rat and Axe of Despair to your hand.
- Equip Dark Magician of Chaos with both Axe of Despairs and pay 500 life points to summon Giant Rat to the field. You are now at 2100.
- Attack D.D. Survivor with Dark Magician of Chaos dealing 3000 points of damage to bring them down to 7600. Remove D.D. Survivor from play.
- Activate Enemy Controller from your hand and tribute Dark Magician of Chaos to steal Skilled Dark Magician.
- Attack with Giant Rat and Skilled Dark Magician for 3300 points of damage bringing them down to 4300 points of damage.
- Activate return from the different dimension to bring back Dark Magician of Chaos and D.D. Survivor.
- Attack with both of them for game.

The final totals being you, 2100, them -300.

Problem – Win the Game in One Turn:

My dear. It’s been about three months since I’ve written one of these, and about two months since I last played Yu-Gi-Oh. It’s a real problem (well, the time I used to spend playing Yu-Gi-Oh is now spent on Vs.), not having anyone to play against, and MSN only goes so far. Eh, I shall probably start judging. So, does anyone in the South of England need a judge?

And, as to the puzzle, this should be fairly straightforward. And if anyone can manage to get a real use out of Thousand-Eyes Idol I might just have to scream.

If you activate The Shallow Grave, your opponent will select the first monster on the following list that can be selected: D. D. Warrior Lady, D. D. Assailant, Cyber Dragon, Don Zaloog.

If you attack D. D. Warrior Lady and she would be destroyed due to that battle, your opponent will activate her effect.

I think that makes a record for conditions at the end of a puzzle. Nifty.
