Mofox’s journey from Newbie to the UK National Tournament 2007

Major UK Event on 18th March 2007

Reading through the message boards on Pojo a common discussion is always the level of support UDE give to the US rather than the UK.  Many UK duellists strive for some major events similar to the SJC’s we read about that happen in the US.

Well due to an upcoming annual charity event in the UK called Comic Relief.  UDE have been asked to put on a charity YGO event here in the UK.

The event will be massive, however it needs support and it needs a good attendance.  It is the cheapest tournament ever and is giving away the MOST prizes I have ever heard of.

This link below will take you to the thread on the Pojo message boards created by our own UK events organiser for UDE, Rob Hooley.

If we are ever to get more premium events in the UK we need to show our support for things like this.  As a duelling community we need to put some effort in ourselves to show UDE that we are serious about having big premium events and tournaments in the UK we can only do this by getting behind events like this.  The fact it is helping support a worthwhile charity makes it even better.

I know it is based in the London area so may be difficult for some of your Northern UK duellists to attend but if you can go please do.  It looks like it could be one of the best events held in the UK this year.

It appears from Rob’s note that he needs helpers for the event, if you have the time please email him and offer your help.

My email address is Mofox_@hotmail.co.uk Click Here to email me for any help or advice or even your opinions on my articles.  I would love to hear your opinions and if you have any suggestions to improve them then let me know.  I will reply to all emails that are sent to me.  Remember newbies no question is a stupid question.

Until next time fellow duellists!
