Hello all of pojo! For those who do not know me, my name is Jeff Lang. Every once in a while I will make a deck article for your reading pleasure. I can obviously build all the top tier decks and win with it, but where is the fun? So all of my decks will be something enjoyable to play, and quite possibly will involve combos you couldn't even imagine. I hope that you all enjoy!

The deck I chose to write about this week is Crystal Beasts. Obviously it cannot ever top a Regional or Day2 a Shonen Jump, but it is a really fun deck type to use. Firstly I wanted to say that due to the release of Kuraz, this deck gained loads of potential. The power to either a) pop 2 of your own monsters to draw two, while they go to your spell/trap zone b) pop two crystal beasts in your s/t zone then get them back via Crystal Blessing c) pop cards on your opponents field if you have abundance in your hand, or Carbuncle in your s/t zone with Blessing in your hand and go for game right there.

The rest of the deck is self explanatory. The Crystal Beast monsters that I chose to use, is basically the best this archtype has to work with. Card trooper obviously fuels your graveyard for Blessing, and helps you maintain cards in your hand. A nice and quick way to help you fuel your s/t zone with cbʼs. I went with the Rescue Cat combo. Sacrifice it to get two Amethyst Cats, hit them for 1200 damage directly then they go to your s/t zone at the end phase.

With all the Dark Armed Dragons/Judgment Dragons and Gyzarus being used right now, I wouldnʼt recommend taking this to a high end tournament, but try it out at your local or hobby league for sure! Hopefully, crystal beasts will see more support in the future, but itʼs not looking good as of now =/
