Formatting: Deck Fix

Hey guys! I’m back again with an update instead of an article, and I’m just here to say that I’m taking Deck Fixes again, and I’ll explain the format of them once again for those of you who weren’t here for the last article explaining the expected format. First of all, I would like to point out that all Deck Fixes should be sent to me via email, and no other way. They CAN be sent as an email with an attachment, which is always better for the people that have trouble formatting their decklists correctly in their gmail text boxes. By the way, me email address is lightningsaphira94@gmail.com.

So, the subject lines of these emails should be Deck Fix, or Deck Fix: “whatever the deck is.” I expect any deck fix emails that are sent to me to be different types of decks than the decks that I’ve already fixed previously during the format, unless you feel that you’ve twisted the theme enough that I’ll find it interesting enough to fix your deck. I also want you guys to follow the decklist format shown below:

Title of Deck – XX Cards

Monsters: XX

1 Name of Card

2 Name of Card

3 Name of Card

…All the way down to when you finish your monster lineup. Then, onto the spells.

Spells: XX

1 Name of Card

2 Name of Card

3 Name of Card

…All the way down to when you finish your spell lineup. Then, onto the traps.

Traps: XX

1 Name of Card

2 Name of Card

3 Name of Card

…All the way down to when you finish your trap lineup.

I will not be looking at any side decks sent to me, and I might even trash your email because you sent a side deck to me, unless the deck idea is extremely innovative and I’m willing to share it with everyone. Notice in the decklist format above that I didn’t add an “x” after the quantity of the card, like many people did when sending me an email before.

Now, sending the email and making sure the format of the decklist is right isn’t enough. You must answer the following questions in the email:

  1. What type of deck is it, and why have you chosen it?
  2. What are the weaknesses and good parts about the deck?
  3. What are you having trouble with?
  4. What is your playing style?
  5. What do you want me to do with the deck?
  6. What is your name?

So I think that pretty much sums up all I want you guys to include in your emails and the formatting, so send those emails in to lightningsaphira94@gmail.com!

Have Fun and Play Fair!

Ed
