Dark Paladin's Yu-Gi-Oh! Dimension
Dimension Magic

9.23.05

Hello again to Pojo and Yugioh fans one and all!

Today I take a break from my interviews to talk to you about a very excellent Spellcaster support card that I believe (we are hopefully) getting in the new Spellcaster Structure Deck.

Dimension Magic
Quickplay Spell

Effect: This card can only be activated when you have a Spellcaster type monster on the field. Select one monster and offer it as a tribute. Then, you may Special Summon one Spellcaster type monster from your hand.

Now, this card is obviously intended for you to summon Dark Magician or Dark Magician of Chaos more easily. Let's look at Field and Hand Advantage. Field advantage stays the same. You give up one monster for another. Odds are to use this card correctly, you give up a weak monster (Level 4 or lower) to bring out something strong. Dark Magician or DMoC. You are -1 from your hand though on accounts of you need to use Dimension Magic.

Secondly, let's move on to monsters that most people use that can easily work with Dimension Magic. Magician of Faith would be quite easy. Sacrifice your Magician of Faith for your DM or DMoC. Or you could use Gemini Elf, Injection Fairy Lily, Breaker or Skilled Dark Magician (who wouldn't be my first choice.)

All in all, I believe Dimension Magic to be a very reliable card, and it shouldn't be very hard to utilize in a Spellcaster deck. It makes Dark Magician slightly more playable and I very anxiously await the Spellcaster Structure deck.

That's it for today, and I hope you liked it.

Please feel free to e-mail me about anything @ tsearcy@lssu.edu

For those of you who are Star Wars fans...

Star Wars Episode III is on video and DVD November 1st...YAY!

You stay classy, Planet Earth :)

~Dark Paladin~

By the way...if any of you are looking for Ace of Spades, I still have him hostage. $100,000,000,000 is needed for his release and the sum in non-negotiable.
