D.P. -- What is your first and last name?

Adam -- Adam Miller

D.P. -- How old are you?

Adam -- 17

D.P. -- What city and state do you live in?

Adam -- Massanutten, VA (Near Harrisonburg)

D.P. -- What decktype do you run and why?

Adam -- I run alot of decks, but right now I'm using a CCC/TER lock
deck. I love this deck because once they are locked it's hard to get
out, and the lock is so easy. I know I'm not original, but I know that
I'm playing the best deck in our current meta(as far as I'm concerned).

D.P. -- What's your favorite card and booster and why?

Adam -- Even though every one will hate me I'm going to say Black Luster
Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning. That would make my favorite booster
IOC. I chose IOC because it has molded so much of what our game is
today.

D.P. -- That's a real good point. As much as everyone hates it,
IOC was one hell of a set that severely altered the metagame. Next
question, what are your thoughts on this summers tins?

Adam -- The only one I got was Exarion. I decked him for a while and
then moved him to my trade binder. The rest of the cards are for the
fans. I don't think many of the cards in these tins will see play in
much other than theme decks. Most are not even clost to tournament
worthy.

D.P. -- So many people are so excited about Exarion being
released. Do you think he's all that he's cracked up to be?

Adam -- Definately not. I thought he would be big too, but he doesn't
live up to the hype. I think he's a good card right now, but not even
deckable in the new format. That would just be silly.

D.P. -- What's the most success you've ever had in a tournament,
and what's your most recent tournament placement?

Adam -- I've been winning almost all of my local tournaments that I go to
every week, but not much luck at regionals. My goal for this year is
to qualify for nationals. The highlight of my tournament season was in
SJC Charlotte where I got to duel Eric Wu in a "just for fun" game and won.
Too bad he and Team Comic Odyssey had to cheat to get so highly ranked.
I don't feel bad for him.

D.P. -- So, do you think the new Ban list will help or hurt the
game, and why?

Adam -- I think everyone knows the answer to this one. This ban list is
going to be great. This list opens up so many more decks. Even though
I'm a BLS player I'm so glad he's getting banned. I think Zombies are
going to dominate this list at first. I can also see the Horus family being
really big.

Last Turn decks might even make an appearance since Book of Moon and
Sinister Serpent are gone. This is definately Konami's best list to date. I
would really like to see Magical Scientist come back and Catapult Turtle get
banned though. I love Scientist!

D.P. -- Last question...where do you see the general direction of
the game going, and why?

Adam -- I think we are going to see alot of control and concentration on
field presence instead of hand size. The Zombie/Phoenix deck will
probably be huge in this format because it is really fast and has great field
presence.

I think this focus change is going to happen because many of our
drawing cards are out and MOF won't be as much of a threat as it was.
This will leave more focus on what you have on the field instead of
what's in your hand.
