Yugi Card #3

Magical Academy
Quickplay Spell

Effect: Sacrifice one monster on your side of the field to special summon one Spellcaster from your hand. That monster gains 500 attack points.

Now, this is a lot like Magical Dimension, except here, you get an attack boost.
This is a bit better, but both could be run in a tribute heavy Spellcaster deck.

Magical Academy: 9.5/10 (Spellcaster deck only of course)

Kaiba Card #3

Attack Guidance Armor
Counter Trap

Effect: When attacked by one of your opponent's monsters, select any other face up monster as the target for the attack.

Now this is a very evil annoying trap. You could send the attack back to your opponent's monster. Or, send it to the strongest monster on the field. Then, your opponent loses a monster AND lifepoints. YAY!

Attack Guidance Armor: 9.8/10 Simply Amazing

Joey Card #3

Cyber-Tech Alligator
Wind/Machine
2500-1600
Level 5

Now, this is a cool card, and we saw Joey use it against Mai in the last new episode of the anime about 6 weeks ago. 2500 is as good as it gets for one tribute. 1600 defense is low, but not low enough to be searched by the Witch in Traditional. Overall, if you need another effectless one tribute monster, or run a Wind deck, use him if we get him.

Cyber-Tech Alligator: 8.0/10 for raw power...8.8/10 in a Wind deck


Duke Card #1

Summon Dice
Normal Spell

Effect: Pay 1000 lifepoints and roll a six-sided die.

*If the result is a 1 or 2, you may play 2 monsters in this turn.

*If the result is a 3 or 4, you may special summon a monster from your graveyard.

*If the result is a 5 or 6, you may special summon any normal monster from your hand. (This excludes Gate Guardian, Great Moth, etc.)

Now, 1000 lifepoints is a bit steep. Let's see, Ultimate Offering lets you do the first effect for half the price. The second effect can be done cheaper with Premature Burial or free with Call of the Haunted. However, the 3rd effect is where this card shines. Special summon your Phoenix for no tributes?
Okay, let's do it.
